Acrylic Paint: Glazing Paint

Dank Claudine Hellmuth habe ich wieder ein paar Dinge ausprobiert, die richtig Spaß machen.U.a. Glazing Paint.

Thanks to Claudine Hellmuth, I tried some things that were really cool. One thing is: Glazing Paint.

Man braucht dafür Leinwand oder Papier, Acrylfarben, Pinsel, Küchenrolle und Wasser.

You will need Canvas or paper, Acrylic paints, brushes, paper towels and water.

Die Acrylfarben sollten von der gleichen Farbe sein, wobei die eine etwas dunkler als die andere sein sollte. Ich habe zum Beispiel zwei verschiedene Türkis genommen.

The Acrylic paints should be the same color, but one of them a little bit darker than the other one. I used two different kinds of turquoise green.

Mit der helleren der beiden Farbe streicht man seine Fläche, also das Papier oder die Leinwand komplett ein und läßt das ganze trocknen. Die dunklere der beiden Farben verdünnt man mit Wasser und streicht über die bereits gestrichene Fläche erneut drüber. Hiernach streicht man fast sofort mit einem Stück Küchenrolle die zweite aufgetragene Schichte von der Mitte nach außen raus.

Using the lighter of the two colors you paint your surface – canvas or paper – and let it dry. Thin the darker paint with water and paint it over the first color. Take a paper towel right away and wipe the paint from the middle to the edges off of the surface.

So sieht es dann aus – die verschiedenen Ebenen verleihen Tiefe und sehen toll aus!

This is the result – the different layers give death and look really cool!

    Genialst, liebe Nat! Jetzt mußt du diese hübschen Papiere nur noch einscannen und drucken lassen :-)) – ich kenn da wen, die hat das fast genauso gemacht!
