Somerset Home and StreetArt

Schöne Post im Briefkasten – meine Ausgabe Somerset Home Vol. 3, 2008 in dem auch mein Willkommen-Canvas veröffentlicht wurde. So viele schöne Deko-Inspirationen- Wahnsinn.

I had some gorgeous mail in my mail box- the Somerset Home Vol. 3, 2008 edition. Love all the wonderful Home ideas inside and I’m really happy that my Welcome Canvas was published there too.

Wie Ihr wisst, stehe ich ja total auf Straßenkunst und habe mir vorgenommen auf dem Weg zur Arbeit jetzt häufiger mal meine Kamera mitzunehmen. Dieses Exemplar ist neu – und genial!

As you know I’m a total fan of street art and I decided to take my camera with me more often on my way to work. This piece is new and I so love it!

Layout: Belgian Truffle

Ich bin tot…im Büro 40 Grad…morgen schleppe ich einen Ventilator dorthin…kann nicht mehr schreiben…nur noch zeigen ;-) Für meine süße Daphne ;-)

I’m a dead-now…there are 100 Fahrenheit in my office …tomorrow I will carry a ventilator to work…can’t write anymore…just show ;-) for my sweet Daphne ;)

DT Work: Kits and Pieces August Kit II

Hier ein weiteres Layout mit dem Country Road Kit von Kits&Pieces.

Here is another layout I did with the Country Road Kit by Kits&Pieces.

*Life*

I used the Alphas in the Kit and traced them on the paper – good way to make up f you are missing some alphas.
I also cut out some extra apples – don’t know if you can really see this – but I put them on foam pads.

Layout: Chill

Dieses Layout ist in der Sommer 2008 veröffentlicht – genau die richtige Erinnerung an mich in dieser arbeitsreichen Phase ;-)

This layout had been published in the German Scrapbookingmagazine this summer – it is defintley a needed reminder as I have a very stressy worktime right now ;-)

St.Pauli vs. Cuba

Yep – und das wird unser Freitag Abend sein – ich freue mich wie Hulle! St. Pauli gegen Kuba – dazu vorher Live Musik – Salsa und Son!

Yes – this will be our friday evening – I can’t wait! St.Pauli (our underdog soccer team) vs. Cuba (national team) – and before the game Live Music – Salsa and SonCubano !

Meine Kamera nehme ich zu dieser Party mal lieber nicht mit – aber vielleicht klappen ja ein paar Schnappschüsse mit dem Handy ;-)

I won’t take my new camera with me – but maybe some shots with the cell phone will do it ;-)

Designteam: Kits & Pieces


Ich freue mich sehr im Designteam bei Kits & Pieces aufgenommen worden zu sein und ich kann es kaum abwarten mit dem grandiosen Designteam dort zusammenzuarbeiten: Julie Fei-Fan Balzer, Rosy Schlitzkus, Kira McKee, Rachel Hall und Mimi Leimbach.

I’m really happy to announce that I was accepted in the Kits & Pieces Designteam. I’m really looking forward to work together with my awesome fellow Designteam collegues: Julie Fei-Fan Balzer, Rosy Schlitzkus, Kira McKee, Rachel Hall and Mimi Leimbach.

Kits & Pieces ist ein Amerikanischer Kit Club mit einigen schönen Besonderheiten. Monatlich gibt es 2 Kits zum Preis von jeweils 18 Dollar zu kaufen (ca. 12 EUR). Der Inhalt ist super! Hierzu können jeweils verschiedene AddOns erworben werden. Besonders toll finde ich die grandiosen Kits & Pieces Balzer Stempel die von Julie Fei-Fan Balzer exklusiv für Kits & Pieces entworfen werden. Besonders der Woodgrain Stempel hat mein Herz höher schlagen lassen!

Kits and Pieces is an American Monthly Kit Club which has some nice features. Every month you can choose between 2 kits – each kit costs 18 Dollars. The content is great. You can also buy several different AddOns with each of the Kits. Totally rocking are the amazing Kits & Pieces Balzer Stamps which are exclusivley designed by Julie Fei-Fan Balzer. The Woodgrain Stamp had my heart beat speed up a lot :-)
Darüber hinaus sind Online Workshops zu erschwinglichen Preisen belegbar. Ich werde auch bald einen halten und überlege derzeit diesen eventuell ebenfalls in Deutsch abzuhalten. Das Messageboard besteht aus einer kleinen, sehr netten Gemeinde- die Atmosphäre ist lebhaft und familiär – genau so wie ich es mag .-) Mein August Kit habe ich gerade erhalten und es ist grandios!!! Mehr kann ich nicht verraten ;-)

Furthermore you can buy Online Classes at reasonable Prices. I will hold one soon too and I’m thinking about having it in both languages. The Messageboard is really nice- I love the active and familiar atmosphere – just the way I love it ;) I just got my August Kit and it rocks!!! I can’t spill more ;)
