Speaking of Workshops – Workshop in Hamburg in May

In May I will be teaching my “What a Wonderful World” Acrylic Minialbum Workshop at Scrapbook-King on May 16, 2009. There are only limited places !

Am 16. Mai 2009 unterrichte ich noch einmal meine Workshop “What a Wonderful World” – ein Acryl Minialbum Workshop bei den Scrapbook-Kings:

In ihrem Workshop „What a Wonderful World“ – inspiriert durch den Song von Louis Armstrong – wird Nat mit Euch an einem Acryl-Album arbeiten. Jede Menge Prima Material, Farben und Marker werden verwendet, um dem Album Tiefe und Pepp zu verleihen. Nat wird Euch einige Tricks zeigen, mit denen Ihr die Schwierigkeiten ein “durchsichtiges” Album zu gestalten, überwinden könnt. Erzählt mit diesem Album Eure Geschichte über eine Urlaubsreise, einen Ausflug – oder einfach wie wunderschön Euer Leben wirklich ist. Der Workshop findet bei uns in Tonndorf von 10:00 Uhr bis ca. 13:00 Uhr statt und wird inklusive Material Eur 24,00 pro Person kosten. Anschließend besteht die Möglichkeit – wie immer an unseren Crop Days – bis tief in die Nacht in lustiger Runde nach Herzenslust zu Scrappen. Interessenten, die erst nach dem Workshop (ab ca. 13:00 Uhr) am Crop Day teilnehmen möchten, können wir erst ca. 14 Tage vor dem Termin ihren Platz bestätigen. Plätze sind – wie immer – limitiert, bitte meldet Euch bis zum 30. April 09 telefonisch (040-66904751) oder unter workshops@scrapbook-king.de an. Anmeldungen für den Workshop werden von uns bestätigt. Absagen sind bis zu zwei Wochen vor dem Termin kostenfrei, danach müssen wir leider eine Stornogebühr von Eur 18,00 berechnen. Es ist jederzeit möglich, einen Ersatzteilnehmer zu stellen.

Bavaria Workshop – or ….clam pusher meets mountain clambers

Clam pushers? Mountain Clambers? Well…for everybody who doesn’t live in Germany…LOL – some call us here in the north “fish heads” or “clam pushers” and we say that our river Elbe is the “Weisswurst Equator” – so everything south of the river Elbe in Hamburg belongs to Bavaria anyway and is….DIFFERENT- LOL.But anyway- Friday I entered the plane and flew to Munich where Birgit picked me up. We went to Reisbach where she lives- about an hour away from Munich in Lower Bavaria. We had a wonderful chatty Friday, I taught my workshops on Saturday and Sunday we went sightseeing in Munich. But let me show you some pictures :)

Ihr wisst ja sicherlich, dass wir Hamburger sagen, dass alles südlich der Elbe zu Bayern gehört…somit wird die Elbe auch Weißwurst-Äquator genannt – aber dennoch hat mich das als Muschelschubser nicht abgehalten zu den Bergkraxlern zu fliegen -LOL. Birgit hat mich am Freitag am Flughafen in München abgeholt, wir haben viel geratscht (!) und dann am Samstag gab ich dann die Workshops, während es Sonntags wieder nach München zum sightseeing ging. Aber seht selbst anhand der Fotos :)

The right clothing is really important to not mess up your clothes…litter bags can come really handy- LOL

Die richtige Kleidung ist beim Rumpantschen elementar – Müllbeutel können da wirklich gelegen kommen- LOL

I loved that everyone was eager to try everything and play with the paint. I can’t really repeat the jokes I write in German…cause they all have to do with the Bavarian idioms and there is no way I can translate this nearly as close to English- so sorry- you miss out- LOL

Ich sag nur: Brrrrruddahl viel Fab und ich habe mich so gefreut, dass alle alles mal ausprobiert haben. Und koi einzige oide zwiedawuazn – alles liebe, offene und nette Leute :)

Der Workshop war wirklich brutal prima! So inspirierend, daß ich den doppelten Espresso wahrscheinlich gar nicht gebraucht hätte;) Und statt ins Bett zu gehen hab ich weiter gepanscht..hab grad Ölkreiden für mich entdeckt! Danke für die Inspirationen und den Anstoß wieder zu panschen! LG Andrea

Off to teach my Workshops in Bavaria

In a couple hours my flight goes to Munich where Birgit is going to pick me up. Everything is packed and thanks to the amazing Scrapbook-King who is sponsoring the workshops too, all supplies are here and ready to use :) I can’t wait to meet everybody and teach my workshops there. So…ta ta for now and talk to you soon :)

In einigen Stunden geht mein Flieger nach München , wo Birgit mich abholen wird. Alles ist verpackt, verschickt und Dank der grandiosen Scrapbook-Kings, die diese Workshops auch sponsorn, bereit. Ich kann es kaum erwarten Euch alle zu treffen und die Workshops zu geben. Also …erstmal Pfüa Di und mir ratschen später:)

Scrapping The Music – Mary Book

See behind the scenes of Scrapping The Music is Mary. She had the idea and she works all out, does the slideshows, posts the winners and challenges, and keeps the whole team together. So it was about time that we the team teamed up to show her how much we appreciate her and her work and this is how this book got created. I had so much fun to collect all those wonderful pages and put them together- see yourself :)

Hinter den Kulissen von Scrapping The Music steht Mary. Sie hatte die Idee, sie arbeitet alles aus, setzt die Slideshows zusammen, schreibt den Blog und hält unser Team zusammen. Somit war es mal an der Zeit, dass unser Team ihr mal zeigt, wie sehr wir sie und ihre Arbeit wertschätzen und so entstand dieses Buch. Ich hatte einen Riesenspass all diese Seiten zu sammeln und in einem Buch zusammenzustellen – aber seht selbst :)
