Cosmo Cricket Inspiration

When I heard Cosmo Cricket  has a design team call, I was really happy. Way back in 2006 I taught my very first workshops in Berlin with their papers and have been eyeing their products ever since. I would love to be on their design team because I love the uniqueness of their papers and other products and how they inspire me to scrap out of the box. So here are my layouts and cards I created for the call – I hope you like them and I hope they like them ;)

*Happy Day*

My parents in law have their 50th wedding anniversary coming up and I’m working on an album for them. The Cosmo Cricket Hello Sunshine Papers were definetley made for this layout!

Supplies:Cosmo Cricket Hello Sunshine Picnic, Cosmo Cricket Hello Sunshine Clover, Cosmo Cricket Hello Sunshine Die Cut, Cosmo Cricket Girl Friday element, Tim Holtz Fragments Clear Tiles, Prima Lace, Vintage Lace, Prima Brad, Flower Bulb unknown

*Start Off*

and so I did another layout because the Early Bird collection totally fit with this picture of my parents in law right in front of their wedding gifts. So love this paper collection!

Supplies: Cosmo Cricket Early Bird Ribbon Sandwich, Cosmo Cricket Early Bird Cherry Pie, Cosmo Cricket Early Bird Bird Brunch, Cosmo Cricket Early Bird Elements, Cosmo Cricket Mr. Campy Blackboard Shape, Cosmo Cricket Little Boys Letter Stickers, Kaiserkraft Pearls, Vintage Lace, Marker

*Easy Going*

And of course it wouldn’t be me if I wouldn’t include a “Painty” layout :) And that worked so well with the Girl Friday Collection.

Supplies: Bazzill Cardstock, Acrylic Paints, Glimmer Mist, Cosmo Cricket Girl Friday Tuesday, Cosmo Cricket Girl Friday Wednsday, Cosmo Cricket Girl Friday Saturday, Cosmo Cricket Girl Friday Monday, Basic Grey Rub Ons, Black Posca Marker

*Birthday Card*

And as I scrap mostly 8.5 x 11 inches – there is often a piece left over of my paper- so I used this for a birthday card.

Supplies: Bazill Cardstock, Acrylic Paints, Glimmer Mist, Cosmo Cricket Early Bird Bird Brunch, Cosmo Cricket Girl Friday Wedsnday, Cosmo Cricket Hello Sunshine Elements, Cosmo Cricket Early Bird, Farmers Market, Rose Moka Letter Stickers

*Vermont Mini Album*

I’m a big fan of the Blackboard Albums- I love how the pattern of the Cosmo Cricket Log is included in this album – such a beautiful die cut. I used the Perfect Pearls from Ranger with it- and the metallic look is perfect with the Little Boys Collection!

Supplies: Cosmo Cricket Blackboard Album Abby, Cosmo Cricket Little Boys Collection,  Ranger Perfect Pearls, Pearls Kaiserkraft, Ribbon unknown

*Rise & Shine Card*

Supplies: Cosmo Cricket Early Bird Cherry Pie, Cosmo Cricket Early Bird Ribbon Sandwich, Cosmo Cricket Early Bird Elements, Prima Rhinestones

Wish me luck :) But if you don’t try, you can’t win, right? Wishing you all a happy day!

So honored that I was asked to be guest designer on the Scrapping the Music Germany blog. And the song is Nina Hagen’s “Du hast den Farbfilm vergessen” (You forgot the technicolor) A really cool song from the 70s. I chose a photo of Anja who does an awesome job on sewing victorian dresses.

Journaling: …and we others are happy about this.

Supplies: Claudine Hellmuth Sticky Canvas, Acrylic Paints, Tim Holtz Script Stamp, Glimmer Mist, Prima Transparency, Prima Flirty Secret Paper and Notebookpaper, Prima Lace, Vintage Lace, Prima Brad, Ranger Distressed Stickles, AdornIt Letter Stickers, Heidi Swapp Chipboard Letters

Wishing you an amazing start into the week!

Street Art Album – Prima Canvas Album

For the last nights I have been creating a project- just for myself, no boundaries and the outcome is so me and makes me sooo happy…I’m anxious to show it to you because it is so dear to my heart! It was so much fun to work with this Prima Canvas Album designed by Donna Downey.

*Street Art Album*

Worked on the cover with my brayer techniques – and used the Claudine Hellmuth Studio Paints- yummie stuff!

I mixed the canvas pages with the page protector pages – but used the page protector pages as fun inlays.

On the inside cover I used Clear embossing powder for the resist technique and then sprayed Ranger’s Color Washes on top.

I used Ranger Grungeboard Tiles and painted them as a base for the photo.

I used Prima Clear Paintables inside the page protectors and used the new Ranger Alcohol Ink Pens to color them in beforehand.

For this page I used my beloved Caran d’Ache Neocolors II.

I stamped the Grungeboard Letters with my favorite Tim Holtz Stamp – love the outcome.

I stitchted through the page protector sheet here partly with out thread

Here I used a Gesso Base and then different paint mediums- Color Wash, Acrylic Paints, Neocolors II

For this page- taken in Paris – I used eyelets and punched them right through the canvas. I do not show the actual page- LOL -since the page protector covers the maybe some people offending part :)

here are some closer shots of the page protectors so you see how they were treated – I sew, as said used the Clear Paintables inside and stitched like a crazy woman ;) – well of course the wonderful pre stitched Prima Papers add to the look.

Supplies:  Prima Donna Downey Canvas Album, Claudine Hellmuth Studio Paints, Range, Adirondack Dimensional Pearls, Tim Holtz Stamps, Tim Holtz Grungeboad Letters, Prima Letter Stickers and Chipboards, Prima Transparency Glitter Splatters, Tim Holtz Philosphy Tags, Tim Holtz Muse Tokens, Prima Stitched Mulberry on Stage, Adirondack ColorWash,Ranger Embossing Pad, Ranger Clear Embossing Powder, Amsterdam Acrylic Paints, Prima Star Felt Mattie, Inkssential’sGlossy Accents, Caran d’Ache Neocolors II, Tim Holtz Grungeboard Tiles, Posca Markers, Prima Clear Pulse Mix Paintables, Ranger Liquid Pearls, Tim Holtz Alcohol Ink Pens and Alcohol Inks, Prima Pulse Papers, Golden Medium, Golden Gesso, Prima Essential 4 Flowes, Eyelets.

So – I hope you like it :)

Wishing you a gorgeous weekend!

Austria Workshops – Österreich Workshops

Here are my Prima Workshops I will be teaching at the Scrapqueens Designdays in Austria, September 25-27, 2009.

September, 2009 in Österreich unterrichten werde.

*ETERNAL LOVE*
