DT Work: Portugal Minialbum *Punky Sprouts*

When I got my box with the Punky Sprouts albums I ohhhed and ahhhed – I love them so much. The mixture of acrylic, cardboard and canvas pages is just so devine. My first album I want to show you is the  “Rebel Sprout” and I used some pictures from a fun family trip to Portugal in 2003.

*Portugal 2003*

I used the Acrylic Paint to glue the title picture. I doodled around the picture with a marker, and that very same doodling shows on the back page of course.

Painted and stenciled with Acrylic Paint over the first Canvas page.

And stamped with Acrylic Paint and a foam stamp on the back side of the canvas page

Covered up the cardboard page with the My Little Shoebox paper

Stamped with Acrylic Paint and a Foam Stamp directly onto the acrylic page.

Its called Rebel -Album – right- so you gotta flip the album sometimes too ;)

Painted the last cardboard piece with acrylic paint – love it.

Supplies: Punky Sprouts Rebel Sprout Album, MLS Paper and Mini Alpha Stickers, Eco Green Crafts Acrylic Paints and Ink Pads, Tattered Angels Stencil, Prima Foam Stamps, Fimo Buttons- unknown, SCRAPBOOK ADHESIVES by 3L™ 3D Foam Pads, Crafty Power Tape.

Love all the layers and the different sizes :)

Have a gorgeous day!

Euch einen tollen Tag!

Workshops in Israel – My Punch -Photos Part III

I told you…you have to see more pictures! Continuing from yesterday – we head to Jerusalem.

We headed to the Old Town – and entered through the Jaffa Gate. It was still Shabbat – so everything was closed besides the Arabian Bazzar.

There was almost nobody outside in the Jewish Quarter- the light was difuse – so it was quite magic to walk around this amazing old city. When Shabbat ended everybody came out and it filled up quickly.

When you are there and realize how close all those significant religious important sights are located you realize how complicated the whole situation is. Here you can see the Western Wall and the Dome of the Rock.

We went down to the Western Wall  and I sat down to write a prayer down and contained it into the wall.

The emotions sourrounding me really touched me!

Well – the pictures are not the best as it was dark…but in my memory  ;)

We drove back to TelAviv and I packed. The next morning we walked a bit around in the beautiful neighborhood of the Suzanne Dellal Center (where the Workshops took place) and then went to Jaffa to a fleamarket.

The only picture of me and Alice together

And then I had to go back to the airport- so sad to leave :( The security was pretty tight and a very long procedure long. Here is my last picture from the airport a Kosher Mc Donalds.

After pushing some first class passengers out of the way, running upstairs and downstairs like a maniac, being stopped at security while breathing whistling and almost dying, I missed my flight in Munich – they just closed the gate in front of me- while with a theatrical gesture I sank down at the counter and looked at the Stewardess in a very miserable status- LOL. She put me on the last flight to Hamburg that day although the waitinglist was super long already ,) Dear Stewardess-  you rock, I love you and I wish you the most awesome week of your life!

So that is it…no more pictures of Israel  – It was really amazing and I hope I will be back someday to see and learn even more.

Workshops in Israel – My Punch -Photos Part II

you really thought I would let you go with just a couple of photos of my workshops in Israel, didn’t you? Nahhhh – LOL – this is my blog and that means my creative diary…you you have to see more pictures- LOL ;)

The day after the workshops I went to the Sea in the morning- located right at the hotel I stayed in – and I had my feed in the Mediterranean Sea !

Then Alice picked me up and we drove to the Caesarea National Park – here during the Persian Rule (about 500 – 300 BCE) was a settlement built. The Romans built a large port here and the history of this place is amazing. Remaining are some amazing ruins.

Love this photo of Alice

And doesn’t your heart just open when you ride on street seamed by palm trees.

We went to a wonderful park Ramat HaNadiv

We went to Zikhron Ya’akov- beautifuly located in the mountains – and had a nice long rest – chatting and eating :)

And then we went to Jerusalem…and that…I will show you tomorrow ….;) Sorry more photos- LOL
