Layout: Hiking Reward *InfoCrea*

Can you believe that summer is almost over? I have a hard time to think about this! Here is a layout that I created with a photo from an amazing hike in Zion Nationalpark last year.

Könnt Ihr glauben, dass der Sommer fast vorüber ist? Mich macht der Gedanke ganz traurig. Hier ist übrigens ein Layout mit einem Foto vom letzten Jahr – von einer Wanderung im Zion Nationalpark.

I love the color combo of pink and orange – so the wonderful Herbier Collection was great to use for this! And the gorgeous Transparency from the Baigneuses Nostalgie Collection gave it a great finish.

Orange und Pink sind echt eine coole Farbmischung !  Die Herbier Collection macht wirklich Spaß und das Transparent von  Baigneuses Nostalgie Collection passte perfect dazu.

Have a wonderful day!

Yup I agree, pink and orange is a delicious combination. teamed with the red overlay and the golden letters, thus layout is super yummy!

Tattered Angels Glaze Resist

Tattered Angels Glaze makes for a great resist. If you apply it first and let it dry and then use Glimmer Mist or Chalkboard on top – the Glaze will resist it. So it makes for some fun techniques. Like this one.

Photos: London Trip

We had a wonderful time in London celebrating our anniversary. The only downside is that I got sick the last day and spent the whole day in the hotel room – let me just say the trip home wasn’t too pleasant. But I will only share the fun pix with you :)

*Beautiful Clouds out of plane window*

*St. Paul’s – our hotel was right there*

*on our way to Tate Modern – St. Paul’s in the background*

*Tate Modern Love*

this installation was called Mixed Media- so fun:

*Brick Lane Market and Spitalfield Market ….ohhhhh yummie*

yummie Bagel – the place is always booming

some people dancing swing on the street- love it

*peek*

* Temple Church – closed this weekend :( *

*Walk on the waterfront*

J. had made a reservation at a very nice restaurant L’Autre Pied – we had a very yummie 7 course dinner and enjoyed a good range of wonderful wines that were part of the tasting session. Thanks hubs for this wonderful weekend :)

Have a good start into your week :)

Euch einen tollen Wochenanfang :)

Happy Anniversary Hubs :)

Today we celebrate our 7th anniversary and actually in two days we will be together for 11 years. It has been a wonderful time – and there are so many things that I cherish :)

I love that we are the best friends and that we can laugh to tears and goof around at the same things….like this:

I love that we both travel whenever we can and talk about everything – and for that matter be silent together too

I love that you can take my moods and quirkyness and that you are always pushing my forward in all I do :)

I love that you are so creative yourself and play all kinds of instruments….even the Didgeridoo -LOL (ok- that is a lie – but I love the Contrabass and guitar ;) )

I love that you make the best yummie breakfast for me on the weekends – and you do as much in the household as I do – so that we both feel well about it

I love that we both love to spent time with friends, enjoy good food (ohh – I mentioned it twice…mhhh- LOL) and a good microbrewed beer so much.

I love that we are such a great team and never forget to laugh or make fun even if we have rough day

I love you because of a lot of other reasons- that I won’t post in public – LOL – but will tell you later ;)

I love you not although you are how you are but because you are how you are. Period :)

Tattered Angels: Glimmer Screen Emboss Resist Technique

When I heard our theme is going to be Resist Tchniques this month on the Educator blog I put my thinking cap on and one morning I woke up with an idea and it worked great :) Here is the out come and the tutorial on how to do it :)

You simply sew around the canvas fabric, then add it to your cardstock, layer the Framed Font Compact and Frame and add journaling – and there you go – a fun – textured – wallpaper like looking – Card or background.

If you want to learn more fun techniques using Tattered Angels come and visit my upcoming Tattered Angels workshops or book them for your store. Here is a place where I teach some of those and other fun Tattered Angels techniques right now:

Online Workshop “Layered Backgrounds” for CraftEdu

Cuchy: It makes a little mark – but not really mention wise – and as you water it with the glimmer mist- it almost vanishes. So there is only a small imprint- that adds with the embossing powder to a nice texture and depth.

Love it! Funny technique. As you pass the screen through the embossing machine, it dry-embosses also the cardstock? or the screen is too thin to leave a mark?
