I want to ride my bicycle

A layout that reminds me on sunnier days in Hamburg ;) Yes yes…I know …we Hamburgers love to talk about the weather- but hey…it is EXTREME – LOL. The funny thing is…the TRUE Hamburger rides his/her bike at any weather…and I do only take it out when the weather is absolutely fab. Which means…this year my bike is having a sad sad time in the cellar ;)

This Layout was part of my article about the Crafter’s Workshop Templates in the Summer issue of the ScrapArtZine.

I had layered Julie’s amazing star stencil sveral times using acrylic paints.

Supplies: Crafter’s Workshop Template Layered Stars, Studio Calico Die Cut Papier Blue Bracket und Love Bird,Fancy Pants Windy Day, Pink Paislee Chipboard Tiles, Pink Paislee Ephemera Die Cuts, Prima Songbird Alpha Sheet, Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L MyStik und 3D Foam Pads, Liquitex Heavy Acrylic Paint

How about you? Do you like riding your bicycle?

huge hugs

Nat

I don’t think I have a bike right now. My husband designs bikes and is heavy “in the industry”, so we always have various bikes and parts laying around, but even when one is considered “my” bike, it’s really just a matter of time before the seat is repurposed, or the pedals have been reassigned, or the handlebars have gone missing. Lol! Now that my kids can both ride, we need to leave a set of bikes built up and ready to ride and get out there and do it!

Eniko…those hexes came in a Cocoa Daisy monthly kit and they are fabulous. Kinda like a glossy chipboard accent that is self-adhesive.
I simply love this LO Nat. My bike has been in my shed for over 8 years without a ride from me. In fact, at this point we call it the parts bike:-(

Nathalie, I love this layout! Unfortunately, I never learned how to ride a bike, but it sure looks like a lot of fun! I’m curious how you got those hexagons…are they buttons? Did you cover them yourself? Hugs, Eniko

My bike is my main mean of transport. No U- bahn here… There are busses, but I prefer my bike. Even when it rains…
The leisurely bike tour I had on my list for this Summer still has to take place though. That just didn’t sound attractive with temperatures above 28 degrees C, or with Fall like weather (like today)… Maybe I should add it to my Fall list ;-).
