Zunächst einmal möchte ich mich herzlich für all die lieben Glückwünsche gestern bedanken – ich habe mich unglaublich darüber gefreut. Es ist schön zu wissen, daß sich andere mit einem freuen!

First off all I would like to say Thanks a lot for the congratulations yesterday – I’m so happy about it. It is wonderful to know that others are happy with oneself.

Hier ein neues Layout, daß unseren guten Freund Bill bei einem gemeinsamen Urlaub in Italien zeigt.

Supplies: Rouge de Garance Papers, Scenic Route Papers, Fancy Pants Papers, Creative Imagination Papers, Bazill Scalloped Cardstock Lil’Davis Stickers, Heidi Swapp Vellum letters, Hambly Screen Journaling Overlay, Maya Road Swirls, Rangers Perfect Perls Aged Patina

Man kann dies auf dem Foto nicht so gut sehen, aber die Swirls sehen aus wie Metall-Swirls. Ich habe sie mit Rangers Perfect Pearls Aged Patina bearbeitet. Es gibt eine Art Stempelkissen, das Pefect Medium Pad, was meiner Meinung nach so ähnlich arbeitet – wenn nicht gleich – wie ein Versamark Watermark Stamp. Damit bearbeitet man die Swirls and streicht dann den Perfect Pearls Staub, den es in verschiedenen Farben gibt (ich habe hier grau und grün benutzt) mit einem Pinsel auf. Das ganze bleibt dann an dem Medium kleben. Damit das ganze dann auch haften bleibt, be- und verstreicht man das ganze mit einer dünnen Schicht Wasser und läßt es trocknen.

It doesn’t show up to well, but the swirls look like they are metallic. I worked with Rangers Perfect Pearls Aged Patina. You use a Perfect Medium Pad, which I think works similiar maybe even just the same as a Versamark Watermark Stamp. You work this pad into the Chipboard swirls and then add the Perfect Pearls dust which is available in different colors (I used grey and green) with a small brush. The dust will stick on the Medium. To set it you use a small mist of water and let it dry.

Heute morgen um sechs Uhr dachte ich, ich schau nicht richtig, als ich eine Nachricht von Amanda von ScrapMuse vorfand. Ich habe es ins Designteam geschafft – wohoooo. Es freut mich so unglaublich, weil ich, seit ich mit dem Scrappen angefangen habe – vor 2 1/2 Jahren – auch Mitglied dort bin. Im Grunde genommen habe ich alles dort von dem unglaublich talentierten Designteam gelernt und mir gefällt vor allem die nette, offene und herzliche Art im Forum! Für mich ist das ein Traum, der wahr geworden ist!

At six O’ clock this morning I thought I don’t see right when I found a message from Amanda from ScrapMuse. I made it into the Design Team – wohooo. I’m so excited and happy about this because I’m a member there since I started scrapping 2 1/2 years ago. I learned everything from this amazingly talented Designteam and I totally love the nice, open and heartful atmosphere on board! For me it is a dream come true!

Die Dares haben eine neue Herausforderung gestellt – man sollte jemanden fragen, was dieser besonders gerne an einem mag. Ich habe mehrere Leute gefragt, weil ich das interessant fand. Mein Liebster jammerte gleich, das sei eine unfaire Frage, man könne nicht nur eine Antwort geben und sagte mir eine ganze Liste von wunderschönen Dingen. Meine Freundin Ariane nannte etwas, was ich nicht erwartet hätte, aber mir sehr gut gefällt – (Knutsch Süße!) Und Christiane, deren Antwort ich dann letztendlich verscrappt habe, antwortete mit: “Dein Lachen”. Das ist übrigens etwas, was ich schon häufiger gehört habe, mich aber dennoch wundert, denn …ich habe ein unglaublich lautes und tiefes Lachen und ich lache oft! Mir ist das manchmal sogar peinlich – LOL!

The Dares challenged again: Ask someone: “What is your favorite thing about me?” Because I thought that this is an interesting question I asked several people. My DH stated that this is an unfair question, he wasn’t able to give only one answer – so he gave me a whole list of wonderful things. My friend Ariane said something I didn’t expect – I nonetheless love – (Smoochies Sweetie!). And Christiane answered “Your laughter” – and I scrapped this. Actually I heard several times that people like my laughter what makes me wonder because…I do have an unbelieveable loud and deep roar of laughter and I laugh pretty often! Sometimes I’m even uncomfortable with it – LOL!

Ich muß sagen – ich vermisse das schon ein wenig – LOL. Definitiv aber habe ich mir mit dem Journal Weihnachten wieder zurückgeholt!

Ein neues Projekt für dieses Jahr ;-) – ein “Nat”-Kartenspiel. Emily Falconbridge, (hier mein Interview mit ihr), wird das ganze Jahr über auf ihrem Blog eine wöchentliche Challenge posten – ein Art Journal in Form eines Kartenspiels. Hierzu wird jede Woche von ihr eine bestimmte Fragestellung oder Anregung gepostet und man bearbeitet eine Spielkarte aus einem normalen Kartenspielsatz mit 52 Spielkarten. Am Ende des Jahres hat man einen Satz zusammen und hat eine tolle Erinnerung an das Jahr.

A new project this year ;-) – a Deck of Nat. Emily Falconbridge, (here my Interview with her) is going to post a weekly challenge on her blog – an art journal in card deck form . Each week she will post a question and you will answer this on a card. At the end of the year you will have a whole deck and an awesome reminiscence of the year.

Ich bin stolz, daß ich mein Ziel viel Zeit mit Familie und Freunden im Jahre 2007 zu verbringen, bereits sehr gut umgesetzt habe. :-) (hoffentlich auch in den anderen Wochen – grins)
I’m proud, I accomplished my goal for 2007 to spent a lot of time with family and friends, in the first week. :-) (hopefully I manage this in the other weeks too – smirk)
