Beim Lesen meiner Lieblingsblogs stieß ich heute auf einen Eintrag von Vicki, in dem sie darüber nachdenkt, warum man manchmal seine alten Layouts nicht mehr mag – einfach weil sich der eigene Stil so ändert. Sie suchte dann jedoch ein paar ältere Layouts/Projekte raus, die sie noch immer sehr mag, einfach, weil diese ihr wichtig sind. Diese Idee fand ich so gut, daß ich mich gleich mal an mein Archiv gemacht habe und ein paar alte Dinge rausgesucht habe, die mir noch immer gut gefallen, obwohl vielleicht andere den Kopf schütteln würden ;-)
When I read my favorite blogs today I found an entry by Vicki, where she thinks about why we sometimes don’t like our old layouts – well simply because one changes their own style over the years. She was searching and picking a few older layouts and projects that she still loves, simply because those are important to her. I liked this idea so much, that I went through my archive and picked out a fewÂÂ old things that I still like, although others might shake their heads ;-)

Ich liebe dieses Foto und auch die Farben und das versteckte gedoodelte Tag – es ist immer noch ein Layout, welches ihc sehr sehr gerne mag.
I love this photo and the colors and also the hidden doodled tag – it is still a layout which I like a lot.
January 2006 *Schmitz, 1916*
Dieses Layout zeigt meine Urgroßeltern mit meiner Oma. Obwohl ich heute wohl den Titel ganz anders machen würde, liebe ich dieses Layout noch immer, ich glaube es war das erste Mal, daß ich so viel verschiedenes Papier auf einem Layout verwendet habe – LOL
This layout shows my great grandparents with my grandma. Although I would do the title in a different way today, I still love this layout, I think it was the first time, that I used so many different papers on a layout – LOL

Es ist immer Licht am Ende des Tunnels – ich mag dieses Layout wegen der Farben, des Fotos und allem – es macht mich einfach happy – obwohl es sicherlich kein Design-Kunstwerk ist – LOL
There is always light at the end of the tunnel – I like this layout because of the colors, the photo and everything – ist just makes me happy – although it isn’t a design art piece – LOL

Ich glaube, das ist eines meiner absoluten Lieblingslayouts und zwar aus vielen verschiedenen Gründen. Ich habe das erste Mal einfach mal nur gescrappt und während des Scrappens habe ich mich all den schönen Erinnerungen hingegeben, die ich mit diesem Foto verbinde – also ein Layout, welches nur mir sehr viel geben kann :-)
I think this is one of my all time favorite layouts and this is because of different reasons. I just scrapped the first time and while scrapping I have been remembering all those wonderful moments I connect with this photo – so therefore this is a layout which only I can really appreciate :-)

Hey Nat! Klar sag ich Dir wo ich die Décopatch Papiere gefunden habe: bei Idee in der Europapassage. Aus diesem Laden komme ich nie heraus, ohne was gekauft zu haben LOL! Echt schlimm. Er macht seinem Namen alle Ehre!
