Blog Love: OLW – Create

One little Word diese Woche: Create. Der Hintergrund ist aus einer Unterlage geschnitten, die ich während verschiedener Techniken zum Schutz meiner Arbeitsplatte verwendet hatte. Die Textur ist interessant und das ganze habe ich mit einer Lasur übermalt, damit alles miteinander verbunden wird.

One little Word this week: Create. The background is a piece from a piece of paper I used as a protection for my desk during several techniques. I like the interesting texture and I painted the piece with glaze so everything comes together.

Supplies: Background paper – mine, Lazar Studio DigiWERX Ledger Flourish, Rangers Distress inks, Collage Press Stickers, American Craft Chipboard Letters, Etsy Journaling Spot, Acrylic Paints, Glaze, Embossing Powders.

So, schmeißt Eure bösen Gedanken weg und seid lieb ;-)

Studio DaphNat: Paper Tearing

Wieder einmal haben Daphne und ich uns von Claudine Hellmuth zu einer Technik inspirieren lassen – das Papier abreissen. Grandios. Diesmal wollte ich mal versuchen, das Tutorial in ein Video einzubinden – lasst mich wissen, ob Euch das besser gefällt als eine Schritt für Schritt-Text Anleitung. Oh…und das Video ist doppelt so lang, weil ich Euch die Outtakes nicht vorenthalten wollte- man was bin ich ein Töffel vor der Kamera- LOL.

Once again Daphne and I were inspired by Claudine Hellmuth and so we chose Paper tearing as a technique. Awesome. This time I wanted to try to implement the tutorial in a video. Let me know if you like this better than a step-by-step-text tutorial. Oh…and the video is a bit longer because I included the outtakes for you – man I’m such a stock of laughing in front of the camera- LOL

    Super Tutorial, vor allem mit den alten Buchseiten sieht es spitze aus!
    Und danke für die Outtakes, ich hab mich vor Lachen kaum mehr eingekriegt! Als ich es angesehen hab, kam Gabriel angerannt: ‘Mama, das ist doch die Frau aus Hamburg, die soviel redet und so laut lacht.’ Du hast einen bleibenden Eindruck hinterlassen, hehe.
    Seinen Nachsatz: ‘Die find ich cool.’ möchte ich Dir aber nicht vorenthalten. ;)

    Ich habe noch gar nicht mitbekommen, daß du unter die Video-Filmer gegangen bist….sehr lustig, vor allem das outtake ;-)
    Mit dem Kommentieren komme ich im MOment nicht hinterher, aber ich schaue immer noch bei dir rein. Sehr schöne, farbenfrohe Werke (wie gewohnt von dir) im Januar.

    Love the background papers, especially the blue-greenish one. My mom recently gave me a whole bag with my old school papers and cahiers, I will totally try this technique on those!
