LO: Besuch war da – and other things

Hier ist mein Layout “Besuch war da” das in der letzten Ausgabe der Scrapartzine veröffentlich war.

Here is my layouts “Besuch war da” (Visitors were here) which was published in the latest Scrapartzine issue.

*Besuch war da*

Journaling translated reads: I love to discover traces of our visitors on our fridge after the visitors left. Magnet words are a great inspiration :-) Observation: India & Hayden were here.

(India and Hayden are my friend’s Liz cutest little girls!)

Supplies: Colors Conspiracy Paper and Overlay and Journaling Spot, Hambly Screen Prints Paper, Crea Motion Chipboard Letters, Acrylic paints, Marker, Love Elsie Stickers

Niles geht es ein wenig besser – er erbricht sich immer noch – aber nicht mehr so oft. Es ist übrigens gar nicht so einfach einer Katze riesige Antibiotika Tabletten in den Rachen zu werfen! Katzen vergrößern sich um ein dreifaches, sehen aus wie Monster-Eichhörnchen und verstecken die Tabletten gerne mehrere Minuten in der Backentasche, um sie sodann in einem scheinbar unbeobachteten Moment heimlich in die Ecke zu spucken. Es hilft nur mit einer Spritze Wasser nachzuschießen, so dass der Schluckreflex unvermeidlich ist. Nettes Spiel…und das noch 9 Tage :-)

Niles is doing a bit better – he is still throwing up – but not as much as a couple days ago. By the way- it is not that easy to throw huge antibiotic tablets into a cat’s throat! Cats are getting three times bigger, look like evil monster squirrels and hide the tablets several minutes in their cheek pouch only to spit it out in an apparently unwatched moment.The only way it works is to shoot some water behind the tablet with a syringe – so that he has to swallow. Nice game…for another 9 days :-)

Oh, that is one of my favorite LOs from the last SAZ. And glad Niles is feeling a bit better. But I knew he was a little stinker and it’d be hard to give him his meds. Hopefully he’ll feel better soon.

DT Work: Guest Designer for Q-Tea Kit Part I

Diesen Monat habe ich die Ehre Gastdesigner bei dem Australischem Kit Club Q-Tea zu sein. Ich durfte mit dem wunderbarem Zusatzkit “Bhangra Bollywood” spielen.

This montha I had the honor to be a guestdesigner for the Australian Kit Club Q-Tea. I had so much fun to play with the gorgeous add on kit “Bhangra Bollywood”.

Unter anderem habe ich diesen Canvas kreiert. Mehr zeige ich Euch später.

Drückt mir die Daumen, dass es unserem Kater heute besser geht. Er hat sich bereits seit Tagen übergeben und der gestrige Besuch beim Tierarzt führte eigentlich zu nichts.

Wish me luck that my cat is doing better today. He threw up for a couple of days but the vet couldn’t find anything yesterday.

DT Work: Smells Like Teenspirit STM 57

Eines meiner Lieblingslieder “Smells Like Teenspirit” von Nirvana ist diesmal Song der Woche bei Scrapping the Music. Das richtige Lied für die Photos meiner Nichte und meines Neffen – die Interaktion der beiden läßt sich am besten im Original des Layouts erkennen- LOL.

This is one of my favorite songs “Smells Like Teenspirit” by Nirvana – and it is the song of the week at Scrapping The Music. And it is the right song for these photos of my niece and nephew – the inter action between the too is better to see in the original of the layout- LOL.

Photo Workshop Day Two

Buntes Treiben war das Motto des zweiten Tages unseres Photo Workshops. Wir sollten uns hierzu ein Photothema aussuchen und im Planten & Blomen Park Bilder machen. Natürlich sollte das Erlernte dabei im Nicht-Automatik Modus umgesetzt werden. Ich habe das Thema: “Wechsel” gewählt.

The motto of the day two of our photo workshop was colorful hustle and bustle. We were supposed to choose a theme for this and take photos in the close by Planten & Blomen Park. Of course we had to execute the newly learned skills in the non-automatic modus. I chose the theme “Change”.

*CHANGE*

Das wars mit Fotos- reicht dann wohl auch- LOL ;-)

That’s it with photos – I guess it is enough now- LOL ;-)

Photo Workshop Day One

Das war ein sehr vollgepacktes, anstrengendes aber schönes und lehrreiches Wochenende! Samstag war der erste Tag des Kurses. Wir trafen uns zunächst am Hafen und spielten mit den Blenden. Auch eine Fotogeschichte war zu erzählen und später standen Portrait-Aufnahmen auf dem Aufgabenplan.

This was such a packed, wearisome but wonderful and informative weekend! Saturday was the first day of the workshop. We met at the harbour and played with the different apertures. We also had to tell a photostory and later we took a lot of portrait photos.

Sonntag gab es eine neue Aufgabe- die Bilder hierzu zeige ich Euch später ;-)

Sunday we had a new task – I will show you the pictures later ;-)

Photos: WeddingFun

Die Hochzeit meiner Freunde war wirklich ganz zauberhaft! Ich hatte unglaublich viel Spaß!

The wedding of my friends was really magic! I had so much fun!

Nach der Vermählung gab es ein kleines idylisches Picknick an der Elbe mit Champagner und O-Saft :-)

Afer the ceremony we had a little picnic at the River Elbe with some Champagne and Orange Juice :-)

Und der absolute Höhepunkt des Tages war eine Hanseatisch-Kubanische Stadtrundfahrt- in einem Doppeldeckerbus- die Hochzeitsgesellschaft oben sitzend, bei strahlendstem Sonnenschein, mit Champagner und auf den Spuren Hamburgs und den Stationen des Ehepaares ;-) Ich habe selten so viel gelacht! (und Ihr wißt was das heißt- LOL)

And the total highlight of the day – the hamburg-cuban sightseeing tour in a double decker bus – the wedding party sitting upstairs, gorgeous sunlight, more champagne and— learning more about Hamburg and the traces of the couple ;-) I have laughed so much…I think I haven’t been laughing this much not very often (well you know what this means – LOL)

Am Abend habe ich meine Kamera eingepackt- und das tat auch mal ganz gut :) Die wäre nämlich fast ertrunken – der Horror! Es wurde viel getanzt, gegessen und gelacht – ein grandioser Abschluss!

I didn’ t photograph in the evening- and that was quite relaxing :-) since my camera almost drowned – THE HORROR! We danced, ate and laughed- an amazing icing on the top!

Die Hochzeit gestern war grandios – ich habe so viel Spaß gehabt- unglaublich! Über 380 Fotos habe ich geschossen – nur tagsüber – abends hatte ich keine Lust mehr zum Fotografieren ;-) Bilder zeige ich Euch morgen – ich habe heute Fotokurs- da kommen noch mehr Bilder hinzu – LOL

The wedding yesterday was amazing- I had so much fun – unbelieveable! I took about 380 photos and that was only at daytime. I was outphotoed in the evening- LOL. I will show you some pics tomorrow – today I have a photo course so more photos will be added – LOL
