Australia…here I come :))))

Wow- that was a secret hard to keep. It was one of many but by far the biggest :)I’m so stoked  for my friend Sherry Mendoza who is on a new bussiness adventure with her “Your Creative Journey“s. And guess who will be the first teacher she is inviting to Australia? Little old me :))))) See the smile- that would go around my head if I had no ears- LOL

Here is the workshop I will be teaching – hier ist der Workshop, den ich unterrichten werde:

Photos: Winter Impressions

I definetley like my office also for doing things differently than others :) So this year we decided that instead of a Christmas Party we would do a Christmas Hike followed by a nice coffee and then dinner just outside of Hamburg. We had a lot of fun and it was really cool….well…also temperature wise.

DSC_1562

We did a guided hike through an old water reservatation and learned a lot and it was really magic hiking along the rive Elbe through the snow with the city skyline just behind us.

Altered: Hansel and Gretel

If you are from Germany you pretty much grew up with the fairy tale of Hansel and Gretel but I’m sure most of the world knows this fairy tale :) Here is their house ;)

HanselGretel_01

I had so much fun altering the wooden house and dressing Hansel and Gretel :)

HanselGretel_02

For the roof and on the Pink Paislee Frame I used lot’s of Tattered Angels Glimmer Glam – I love that stuff :)

HanselGretel_03

Supplies. Pink Paislee: Bayberry Cottage Paper, Queen Bee Paper, Artisan Elements Frame, 365 Degrees Ribbon ; Tattered Angels Glimmer Glam,  Crackle Medium.

Hope you like it :)

Altered: Mirror Mirror on the Wall *Tattered Angels*

This big mirror was found in a little store in my neighborhood for 16 EUR (about 22 Dollars) – white it was- and I knew I had to use it for a project and spice it up :)

nat_TA_MIrror

I painted the frame of the mirror with clear gesso first as it was more like a supersmooth surface and I wanted the Chalkboard to really grab on it.

mirror5

I spread some Golden Goddess Glimmer Glam on parts of the mirror.

nat_TA_MIrror_03

Then I used my favorite new stamps the Tattered Angels Architectural Border Stamps and stamped on tissue paper, decoupaged it to the frame and then sprayed over the frame with different Colors of Chalkboard and Glimmer Mist.

mirror4

After that dried I applied Crackle Medium on some parts of the frame as well as onto the mirror itself. After that dried I used Glam and Glaze and Irridiscent Gold Glimmer Mist and finished it all up.

nat_TA_MIrror_02

I cut out the words from the Simple Sayings Tag after I had sprayed them with Glimmer Mist too and attached them to the mirror.

Wishing you a gorgeous day!
