You have a cool lineup this year! Some artists I’ve heard of (a few I’ve taken workshops from), some I only see on television or have seen in books, but a huge variety of talent! Can’t wait!

Mary- you can see those on the top over the carousel of the classroom. You need to be logged and in the classroom for CJS. You received an email with the details of how to access and navigate the classroom (check your spam if not). If you still have questions- email me and we get you to the right place, thank you!

    Hi Nathalie,
Is this more into art journaling of more mixed media craft?

    Thanks ,

    Greetings

Audra, I mostly make greeting cards and do a few little paintings for myself, but I always learn something new from Jumpstart. Techniques for all different media, some basics with a twist and some things I’m not totally interested in, but are interesting to watch. It’s not like a specific workshop from a specific artist, but more like getting to see into a little of the creative process for all kinds of work.

Audra- It is all mixed media -with about half art journaling and half all kinds of other mixed media projects with some showing techniques that can be also applied in an artjournal if you wanted to. hope that helps, nat

Yes you can- to download the videos you need to connect to itunes though – but you can watch and stream all the videos on your phone with your internet connection.

I am a creative person, however, I do not consider myself an artist. The idea of taking the course appeals to me as a way to stretch-learn-try-discover-play–How talented do I need to be to enjoy the course without getting frustrated over a lack of ability?

    Thanks,
    Kelly

Hi Kelly, I think the range of projects offer something for everyone who has been playing with Mixed Media art or artjournaling. You would need some of the basic supplies like acrylic paint in order to be able to play along a bit. While I cannot say that all 31 projects might be perfect, I am sure there are at least some that only a few are for advanced mixed media artists but I would make sure you have some small experience as mentioned before and have some basics as listed in the description of the course handy. I hope this helps and I hope I will see you in the classroom, nat
