Artful Adventures with Joan Miró – Online Workshop
The Artful Adventures workshop series will introduce you to master artists from around the world and throughout history, and through their techniques and style inspire YOUR art journaling and artmaking.
This workshop focuses on Joan Miró – the whimsical and mysterious Surrealist and Abstract artist from the 20thcentury – and his style of creating. Through 6 lessons learn a variety of unique ways to translate some of Miró’s signature moves, to help add new elements to your work and to enhance its meaning. Explore shapes and symbols and create personalized lettering to express your ideas. Build Miró style backgrounds and discover how traditional portraiture can be a jumping off point for your own artwork. Make your mark in a style that is influenced by Miró, but definitely all your own. Finally, put your new skills to practice by creating your own visual elements and applying them to art journal pages and beyond. Get ready to go on an Artful Adventure with Joan Miró!
