This foam stamp is inspired by Nathalie’s original painting, “Where is Tiffany” and specifically the magnificently dilapidated St. John’s Church in her neighborhood of Jersey City. Once a showpiece of the community and diocese and pivotal in the civil rights movement of the 60’s, St. John’s was lavishly decorated with Tiffany stained glass, Italian marble, and numerous decorations of the highest craft before its decommission in the 1990’s. Since this time the structure has been stripped of its decoration and left to disrepair and ruin.

Give your cards, canvases, mixed media projects, and art journal pages a bold focal point with this Church foam stamp.

These stamps are inspired by places and objects in Nathalie’s own neighborhood of Jersey City, as well as by her blog series Stroll Through the Hood. She gathers inspiration as she sketches and photographs on her strolls, and is attracted to the historic architecture, forgotten landmarks, and the street art that she passes along the way. These original hand sketched stamp designs are reminiscent of things you might find in towns and cities across the US.

This stamp measures approximately 5 ¼” w x 5” h

Designed by Nathalie and produced by ArtFoamies, Foam Stamps can be used with acrylic paint, fabric paint, or inks and clean-up is easy.  This stamp is ideal for layering or creating streetscape inspired motifs in your artwork, mixed media projects, or in your art journal.  Foam stamps are also perfect for decorating fabric, smooth walls, floors, furniture, curtains, tablecloths, scrapbook papers, gift wrap, and much more. They’re a revolutionary and fun new way to block print.
