I’m really excited – only one more week and I will be in L.A. for the Winter CHA. Meanwhile all the preparations keep me busy. Creating a Make and Take for Prima, Creating Projects for Tattered Angels as well as for myStampBox and getting used to the idea that I have to demonstrate in public and speak to a not so small crowd. Also getting excited about the classes I take and about the people I will finally meet. All those questions: what to wear? And what to do with my hair …oh and …and…and…actually – I’m not only excited – LOL – I’m also scared. You don’t say that, right? But actually- why not – I have never been to CHA – I have no clue how I will come over in the crowd – I have never done a big Make and Take or Demonstrated with a Headset and a big screen showing stuff I do behind me – so I as well just admit it – I’m scared ;) But I’m sure it is going to be fun – so if you are there and see me…be nice to me – LOL!
Ich bin schon ganz aufgeregt – nur noch eine Woche und ich bin in L.A. bei der Winter-CHA. Währenddesssen halten mich die Vorbereitungen auf Trapp. Einen Make&Take für Prima ausdenken, Projekte für den Tattered Angels Stand und für myStampBox vorbereiten und dazwischen mich mit dem Gedanken anfreunden, dass ich in der Öffentlichkeit Demos machen soll und vor einer nicht ganz kleinen Gruppe reden solle. Ach und außerdem auch noch aufgeregt sein, wegen der Sachen, die ich lernen werde und der Leute, die ich endlich treffen werde. Und dann noch diese “nebensächlichen” Fragen: Was soll ich tragen? Was mache ich mit meinen Haaren – diese Funzeln und… und …und…eigentlich bin ich gar nicht nur aufgeregt- LOL – nö – ich habe auch ein wenig Schiss. Ja – gibt man nicht zu, oder? Wieso eigentlich nicht – Ich war noch nie bei der CHA- ich habe keine Ahnung wie ich in der Menge so rüberkomme – ich habe noch nie ein großes Make & Take gemacht oder Demos mit einem Headset und einem großen Bildschirm hinter mir, der auch noch mich zeigt – also da kann ich doch einfach zugeben, dass ich die Hosen voll habe ;) Aber ich bin sicher es wird viel Spaß machen – und wenn Du auch da bist und mich siehst …sei lieb zu mir – LOL!

You’ll be fine! CHA is so much fun. Lots of vendors, lots of talented people and cool new products. Are you planning to go to Disneyland? I’m going Sunday.

That is exactly what I thought 6 years ago when I went to my first CHA – it was in Atlanta! But, even though I was really nervous my people skills took over and I had a great time. Though, I didn’t teach to a large group, I demo’d to smaller groups of people.
good luck in your preperations, and just remember to bring clothes and shoes that you will be comfortable wearing from 9am to 5:30pm or later! comfort definetly needs to win over fashion, LOL.

Du wirst das ganz ganz toll machen Nat, und das sag ich nicht nur so! Es wird super werden. Ich beneide dich! Und noch viel mehr die Leute, die dort tolle Sachen mit Dir machen. (ein bisschen Schiss ist auch immer gut, der erhöhte Adrenalinspiegel steigert die Konzentration, hab ich mal gelesen…)
