Artist, author, and educator Diana Trout revels in extravagant splashes of watercolor and open fields of white. Whimsical, abstracted flowers are an ongoing obsession. Her days are spent experimenting with art journaling, painting, stitch, paper crafts and rubber stamping and sharing discoveries through her blog, online classes, YouTube channel and artwork.
“My mission in teaching is to connect with my students and pull out the inner spark that pushes them to the next level in fearless artmaking.”
Trout’s book, Journal Spilling is used by artists, art journalers and teachers. Her artwork and articles have appeared in national magazines. She’s exhibited nationally and on the internet. Diana teaches in person and online as well as maintaining an active blog and YouTube channel.
