Project 365 – Week 22

Here are my photos of last week and Yeah – again a long weekend- I love May :) I do have (there is  a German word) leisure Stress

Hier sind meine Fotos der letzten Woche und yippeah – wieder ein langes Wochenende – ich liebe den Mai :) Ich habe sozusagen Freizeitstress- LOL

*145/365*

Met my friend A. with her little daughter. It was a fun afternoon.

*146/365*

May 26-2009: Unbelieveable the ballot for the European Election – is almost as tall as I am. Some very excotic parties on there.

*147/365*

Yearly condominium owner’s meeting. Lot’s of paperwork and preparation – celebrated with a nice pub visit with all the nice neighbors :)

*148/365*

Niles took over the construction supervision. He is staring at the craftsmen the whole day- almost with an objurgatory look. LOL

*149/365*

I love this looney rabbit…hahaha- cracks me up!

*150/365*

Girl’s day- such fun! Should do this more often :)

*151/365*

got a huge bunch of peonies – I love those flowers

—-

I have an awful lot on my to-do list- but I will also have some fun with Liz this afternoon…you only live once…right? So enjoy your day :)

Ich habe unglaublich viel auf meiner “To-Do-Liste” – aber ich werde dennoch den Nachmittag mit Liz geniessen …man lebt ja nur einmal, oder? Also – genießt Euren Tag :)IIinsitu_init_page_photo_description_div(\’3580304199\’);

In this layout I wrote about how the decision to move to Hamburg was one of the best decisions ever. I grew up here and I got happy :)

Workshop at ScrapbookKing -Pictures

So last Saturday I taught at ScrapbookKing my “What a Wonderful World” Class. It is fun to come back  as it is almost like coming home teaching there. Jan and Anke always prepare the workshops in a wonderful and thoughtful way and it is a pleasure for a teacher to be there. While teaching the students asked me to come back in November to teach my Canvas Class and I will – I was going to retire it but I guess well…I wait a bit. LOL. So here are some photos of the workshop.

Letzten Samstag habe ich meinen Workshop ” What a Wonderful World” bei den ScrapbookKings unterrichtet.

our youngest guest :)

The winners of my classes: Melanie and Melanie :) you girls can find yourself also on the PrimaDonna Blog.

Can’t wait for my next workshops – I love teaching :)

Ich kann es kaum erwarten bis zu meinen nächsten Workshops – Es macht Riesenspaß :)

LO: For Me *STMG 15*

There is a German Scrapping The Music Blog and this week they do have a song that I absolutely love for a long time. It is by Hildegard Knef and called “Für mich solls rote Rosen regnen” which means “For me It should rain red roses” When I was a teenager this song was a big part of my life- I used to crank it up and sing along and I still get goosebumps when I listen to it.

*For Me*

Journaling:

For me it should rain red roses
Aged 16 I used to say I want
Want to be big, want to win,
want to be happy, never lying,
Aged 16 I said in silence I want
Want everything or nothing at all.

For me it should be raining red roses.
I should meet with all of the wonders.
The world should rearrange itself
and keep its worries to itself.

And later I else said, I’d like to understand,
see a lot, get to know, maintain,
And later I else said,
I don’t want to be alone but still free.

For me it should be raining red roses.
I should meet with all of the wonders.
Luck should behave gentle,
It should reign my fate with love.

And today I say in silence, I should agree,
reduce myself, can’t agree, don’t want to reduce myself,
still want to win,
Want everything or nothing at all.

For me it should be raining red roses.
I should meet with completely new wonders.
Start up again far from the old,
Keeping most of the expected,
I want, I want!
