Free Your Creativity Mixed Media Canvas Online Class starts tomorrow

Many of you told me that they would so love to be able to take the Canvas Class “Free Your Creativity” which I’m going to teach in Greece, Australia and Spain the next two months. So I thought…well…you can…LOL – Online – and I worked really hard the last couple days to make it on time before I leave.

CraftEdu_CreativityOnlineClass

WHEN:

Starting tomorrow- Friday April 1st at noon MST (Germany 20.00 Uhr) – and no …it is not an april’s fool – you can sign up for my new class at Craft.Edu . Right now I have only the link to the side that shows all my classes, so if you do not see The Free Your Creativity Class yet…it is not published yet ;)

WHAT You get:

This class will use Spraypaints and other Paintmedia and much more. You will learn how to create dimension and texture with Gesso and other fun materials and add visible interesting details with metal Embellishments.

All the techniques can be easily applied to future projects and layouts.
This workshop is for everybody who wants to do something out of the box and loves to try something new and playful.

In over 30 minutes Videos, Photos, Narration and Annotation I will lead you through the class and give you the possibilty to work in your own pace and time table. On top of that you can join my personal classroom in the CraftEdu Community to ask questions, talk to other classmates and share your outcomes of the classes with me and the other students.

Once you signed up you will be able to access to the class for 365 days and you can watch it 12 times.

The class will cost 21 Dollars – those that sign up the first 48 hours will get a discount of 25%- meaning you pay 16 Dollars. For the European Folks that are paying in EUR that means you will only pay round about 11 EUR.

My Space :)

So today I show you mine – and I warn you…it is not the tidiest room but I refused to clean it more – cause…hey…that is how it looks like ;)
I have an L-Shaped working space in the middle of the room built with some fun kitchen counters available at a well known swedish furniture place. One of my loved possesses is an old typewriter I found at a fleamarket here in Hamburg.
On the back wall I have a huge shelf unit with different cubes which serves for storage for my workshop materials and my tools and supplies.

I love using my supplies as a decoration too – like here my stamps with my new child hood shrine I created and the flowers and laces in the deco glass.

My Glimmer Mist, Chalkboard Glimmer Mist, Glimmer Glam and Glimmer Glaze are sitting on a stand that I bought a couple months ago in a store in my neighborhood. I love how this gives me an easy access to all the colors.

I have my Tattered Angels Craft Mat out to cover part of my workspace- as I love working with messy media ;) I sourround my space with wonderful gifts I received from dear friends – it makes me happy to look at those projects.

and here is picture of my …not so pretty stored Tattered Angels Clear Stamps and Screens. Well – it is all for practical reason. I store them in bags that are sorted by workshops I’m teaching, so I can easily grab them when traveling to the different events where I teach my Tattered Angels Workshops.

I love that I have a skylight right above my working area- which gives lot’s of light. On the left you can see my chalkboard where I keep track of all the upcoming deadlines for the actual month.

So now you know where I create

Guestdesigner for Scraptivate – Australia

The package I got from Scraptivate was pure deligth -I had such a blast doing my projects for them!

Das Paket von Scraptivate war einfach Sahne- ich hatte einen solchen Spaß meine Projekte zu gestalten!

*Carpe Diem*
CarpeDiem01_1200

This is a wooden shadowbox for the wall. I used the German Scraps, Rub’nBuff, the metal clock and the Glass Beads from Scraptivate. Other than that some of Donna Salazzars Papers and Candy Rosenbergs Steampunk Stamps. Tattered Angels Glimmer Glam, Glimmer Mist and Glimmer Glaze.

CarpeDiem02_1200

I painted the German Scraps – black – with golden acrylic paint, wiped it off when it was only partly dry and then also used some of the RubNBuff- to have actually three different colors in it. I also used the RubNBuff on the Foam Letters- Cushies bei Pink Paislee.

CarpeDiem03_1200

*Childhood Shrine*
ChildhoodShrine01_1200

This is a wooden shrine that was included in the kit and that I had to put together- I loved it so much!  I also used German Scraps, Rub’nBuff, a metal clock and Golden Glass Beads. Other than that some of Donna Salazzars Papers, Crafty Secrets Fairy Sheet and Tattered Angels Glimmer Glam and Chalkboard, also Crackle Accents.

ChildhoodShrine02_1200

ChildhoodShrine03_1200

This shrine is symbolic for how in our childhood we just do believe in ourselfs and be ourselfs but when we are growing up we loose all the confidence and this shatters. So this is what I called the Childhood Shrine- as a reminder.

ChildhoodShrine04_1200

*Toadstools*
ToadStools_01_1200

the journaling reads:
…and she was reminded once again on her path to NOT pick up the deadly toadstools.
