Eine der Personen, die mir über das Internet ans Herz gewachsen ist, ist Judith aus Holland. Unser Emailverkehr und gegenseitigen Kommentare auf den Blogs haben eine schöne Verbundenheit entstehen lassen und ich freue mich darüber! Dieses Layout ist also für Judith – als mein Pay-It-Forward-Geschenk. Ja…das mag langweilig sein – ein Scrapbook-Layout…aber ernsthaft…alles andere sehe doch etwas morkelig aus ;-)

One of the persons that I heart since knowing over the internet is Judith from the Netherlands. Hier ist eine Karte,die ich noch nicht gezeigt habe. Sie war für meine Ex-Kollegin, die letzte Woche ihr 20-jähriges Jubiläum im Büro feierte. Immerhin 13 Jahre davon, habe ich mit ihr zusammengearbeitet und zwar sehr gerne!

This is a card I haven’t shown so far. It was for my ex collegue who had her 20years work anniversary last week. I shared 13 of those years with here – and I love working with her!

Auf der Karte findet man mein derzeitiges Lieblingspapier – IOD-von Prima – ich bin hin und weg- schon seit Wochen. Und dann erhalte ich gestern von einer der beiden Designerinnen dieser Papiere, Sally eine Email, dass sie wiederum meine Galerie total mag und, dass sie gerne einige meiner Layouts auf dem IOD-Blog zeigen wollte. Vielen Dank Sally, ich habe mich so unglaublich gefreut!

You find my favorite paper at the moment on this card – IOD by Prima! I’m totally in love with those papers – for weeks now. And then I got an email yesterday by Sally – who is one of the two Designers of those papers, telling me that she like my work in general and that she would like to show some of my layouts on the IOD-Blog. Thank you so much, Sally, I’m so happy about this!

Hallo Ihr Lieben – ich hoffe es geht Euch gut. Ich brauchte eine Internet-Pause :-) Irgendwie erfasste mich der Herbstblues und nu ist er wieder weg…hoffe ich. In der letzten Zeit habe ich online so viel Negatives gesehen, gelesen und gehört, daß ich mich mit der Frage beschäftigte, wofür diese Kram eigentlich gut ist – denn gutes Karma scheint manchmal einfach nicht genug zu sein. Aber etwas, was ich gestern in der Post hatte – hat mir gezeigt….dafür ist es gut …für echte Freundschaften, die sich auch über das Internet entwickeln können – also blogge ich mal munter weiter und bin immer noch online und der Rest: Zickerei, fiese Gerüchte, üble Machenschaften und Dummheiten rutschen mir halt den Buckel runter!

Hi you all – I hope you are doing good. I needed a little Internet-Break :-) Somehow the autumn blues hit me right in the face and no it’s gone – hopefully. I read, saw and heard so much negative stuff online that I asked myself what is it good for as good Karma sometimes ist just not enough. But something I received in the mail yesterday showed me what it is good for – for real friendships that can be developed over the internet – and I stay online and blog and the rest: all those catfights, stupid rumors, bad manipulations and the didoes can drop dead!
Hier sind die genialen Sachen, die ich von Kimmy gestern bekam – wie schön, daß es Dich gibt!!! Die Socken sind der Brüller!

Here are the awesome things I got from Kimmy yesterday- how wonderful that you are in the world!!! Those socks are hilarious!!!

und dann habe ich völlig vergessen die Photochallenge von letzter Woche auch zu bloggen – also gibt es heute zwei Photochallengeeinträge – Numero eins – Kunst an dem Ort wo Du wohnst. Das kann ein Gemälde in Deinem Wohnzimmer sein, ein Graffiti um die Ecke, eine schön bemalte Wand, eine Ausstellung im Laden nebenan.
Oh and I totally forgot to post my Photochallenge last week – so I post two today. Number 1: Art at the place you live. This can be a painting in you living room, a graffiti around the corner, a wonderful painted wall, an exhibition in the store next door.

Und für diese Woche: Architektur – wie sehen die Häuser bei Euch üblicherweise aus, gibt es ein besonderes Merkmal, Stein, Holz, Fachfwerk – na?

And for this week architecture – how do the houses look like at the place you live – is there something special, stone, wood, timbered – ???

Most of the houses in our area are from the 1870s, the so called Gründerzeit. Stucco outside and inside, balconies, huge entrances and doors and big windows are the main signs. Almost always there are smaller two to three story houses in little yards behind those houses. I love these houses – only pain…no elevator fits in – so walking up to the sixth floor is a pain ;-)
