I’m back. Arrived this morning – totally tired (although I was lucky and the seat next to me was empty – but Twilight and James Bond kept me awake- LOL). I had a wonderful time with the Workshops, my friends, new friends and so on. I will tell more later. I’m busy packing materials and stuff for my Denmark Workshops :-) So for now you get the late pictures of the week :)

I always forget what a car focused country America is. But this mail box with it’s opening to the street side says it all.

Paterson NJ – Great Falls -Unbelievable that this town has been a wealthy city in the late 19th century and been known as silk city. Nowadays lot’s of old abandoned houses and industrial buildings.

We went to the Lambert Castle in Paterson NJ – just for fun and be goofy and see the biggest spoon collection in the world. This old piano caught my interest – love this!

Brayer Workshops I taught in New York City that day- the people had so much fun to get creative and wild – I loved it!

Picture taken at my Canvas Workshop on Saturday in NYC. I loved the way how creative people got and how different their outcome was from my proto type :-)

I love seeing your observation of the direction our mailboxes face–I’ve never known anything different and would have had no idea that in some that would look backward. It’s so cool to see our world shrinking. I’d love to see our country become less car-centric.
Great photos and congratulations on your workshop here. Sounds like you’re having some amazing success!

I love seeing how travellers view the U.S. Too bad you didn’t get to see much of NYC! Your photos are fantastic. Good luck with 365!
