Project 365 – Week 15

What a week – just the weather makes it a favorite so far :)

*96/365*

Project Apartment 2.0 continues – so we decided for the middle lamp – well three of those for over our kitchen counter.

*97/365*

It is back!!! YEah- took two years but finally there it is again!

*98/365*

The weather starts to be really good- I see a lot of days on the roof deck ahead.

*99/365*

I love our little ritual of meeting regularly for lunch to catch up. My friend C. and my godson  – he flirted with me- soooo cute!

*100/365*

We did a bicycle tour through the city and saw this on a house in Altona which is going to be demolished. Love the colors.

*101/365*

First Grilling on the deck – here is our Hamburger- Cam :)

*102/365*

Planting and cleaning and then relaxing. Love this photo :)

———-

Wishing you a gorgeous start into the week. For us it is a short week here in Germany as today is Easter holiday :)

Your house deck rules. I want one when I grow up. ;) I went on a 2-3 hour walking tour of Altona and loved it. Very neat stuff.

Happy Easter :)

hope you aren’t scared of the Easter Bunny :) We thought this commercial Easterbunny was pretty scary though. My friends and I couldn’t resist when we were at a Mall in NJ a couple weeks ago :)

hoffe Ihr habt keine Angst vorm Osterhasen :) Wir fanden diesen kommerziellen Osterhasen ziemlich gruselig.

Have a good one :)

DT: April ScrapTastic Kit “The Velvet Room” Part IV

What a great holiday start yesterday- wonderful weather – tempartures around 68 Fahrenheit – nice bicycle tour and first BBQ on our roof deck this year…yeahhh :) For now I leave you with my last two layouts I created with the Aril ScrapTastic Kit.

*You Got It*

Journaling: Seriously you do! You are amazing. I hope to meet you soon again. :) NYC March 2009

For this background I used the KI Butterfly Lace in the kit and used it as a mask with Spray paint. I also used Ranger Dimensional Pearls on top of the American Crafts Felt Letters.

And I played a bit with Ranger Spraypaint on top of the white Primaflowers– love the effect.

*That’s Why…*

Journaling: …eloping is not an option – because your friends make you laught and feel good on your wedding day and you will never forget those wonderful moments. July 3rd, 2004 USA

I used the Butterflies I had sprayed over before on the You Got It layout. I also used my cuttlebug Script Embossing Sheet in my BigKick (I start to get the KICK out of it- LOL)

———

That is it for now…gotta run- we have planting plans for today :)

DT: April ScrapTastic Kit “The Velvet Room” Part III

And two more layouts with this wonderful kit. Only 4 left over right now!

*I Wish I Could…*

Journaling is how I wish I could be in this little mountain village in Spain and just relax :)

I used the cut out of the Prima Flirty Paper  – see my layout *Love* and mimicked the die cut with the IOD Flirty Secret Notepad paper that is also included in the kit. I used alcohol inks on the American Crafts Glitter Alphas to get some other colors.

 *Just One Shot*

My great grandparents (from my grandfathers site) didn’t like to be photographed. It was quite tricky to convince them.

I used alcohol inks for the photo background.

Hope you all have a gorgeous day- warm and sunny!

DT: April ScrapTastic Kit “The Velvet Room” Part II

I’m still working with my kit and I really love the romantic feel of it. So here is a layout and a card I created with it…more to come :-)

*Love*

I so love this photo of my BIL and his wife at their wedding.

For the wallpaper looking background I used the Prima stamp in the kit and used it several times to form diamonds. I also used a distress inkpad over it. I cut off the paper from the Prima Flirty Paper and mounted it on foam pads to give it more dimension.

*Bunny Card*

The not so usual Easter Card- LOL. As you can see I used the heat embossed lace as a background. For the bunny tail I used Ranger Liquid Pearls.

Have a gorgeous day!
