DT Work: Scrapmuse December Kit Part II

Hier kommen noch ein paar Projekte mit dem genialen Scrapmuse Kit.

Here are some more projects with the amazing Scrapmuse Kit.

*Merry Christmas – Canvas*

I painted a 20cmx50cm (8 inches x 20 inches) canvas with an ocker acrylic paint. I then traced the KI Lace letter and painted those with a different acrylic paint. I stamped over with green acrylic paint on bubble wrap. The Prima Paintables were painted with different techniques and mediums. The red dots are acrylic paint – sprinkled embossing powder onto the wet paint and embossed it. Around the red dots I lined green puff paint. The space in between is painted with a self mixed glaze.

My little god son looses his teeth like a tree it’s leaves in autumn. Traced the KI-Lace on cardstock.

The photo was actually an accident. I put the photo paper the wrong way into the printer. First I wanted to throw the photo away but then I thought it looks kinda cool – like a drawing. The background is painted with Rangers Crackle paint and stamped with Stains afterwards.

Und nun erstmal die ersten Layouts mit dem unglaublich schönen Scrapmuse Dezember Kit.

And here we go with part one of my work with the unbelievable beautiful Scrapmuse December Kit.

I sprayed the Prima Paintables with different paints, stapled the KI Letter Lace on top and sprayed with silver again some splashes on top. I sprayed Glimmer Mist on the Shooting Stars.

my statement for 2008 ;-) Love the funky Tinkering Ink Papers and the ribbon the kit is so yummie.

Christmas Journal: Day #10 – #17

Hui—da war aber was aufzuholen ;-)

#10 – Wrapping this year

Eingefleischte Ikea-Besucher werden es wohl erkannt haben ;-) Dieses Jahr kleiden sich unsere Geschenke ganz im Design eines großen schwedischen Möbelhauses.

Some of you might know what it is ;-) This year our presents are wrapped in a design by a huge swedish furniture store ;-)

#11 – the tree

Mit einer Negativ-Embossing Technique habe ich hier den Hintergrund gestaltet. Der Baum ist echt und duftet schön und die Ornamente sind zumeist selbstgemacht.

The background was created with a negative embossing technique. The tree is real and smells nicely. Most of the ornaments are self made.

#12 – what do you miss about past christmases

Ja – ein wenig vermisse ich ja schon, dass ich nicht mehr an das Christkind glaube ;-)

Well – I miss it a little bit to not believe in Santa anymore.

#13 – What would be the coolest present for you?

Ach – eigentlich reicht es als Geschenk für mich, Zeit miteinander zu verbringen – ehrlich!

Seriously – the biggest present for me is spending time together!

#14 – Christmas Songs

Weihnachtslieder mag ich schon sehr gerne- aber nicht schon ab September und nicht non stop.

I like christmas songs – but not from September on and not non stop!

#15 – Home or Visitor?

Wir sind zuhause – auch schÃön!

We will be home- also nice!

#16 – Grateful for…

Weihnachten bietet ja doch immer die Gelegenheit besonders viel Zeit mit der Familie und mit Freunden zu verbringen – ein Grund sich zu freuen.

Christmas is a time that offers the possibility to spend more time with family and friends – something to be grateful for.

#17 – A present that will be just perfect

Diese Jahr gibt es eine Fülle von Geschenken – kleinere und größere für J. aber eines was perfekt ist, ist …nun ich sag nur “Gemischtes Doppel” ;-)

This year DH gets a lot of little and big presents but one that is perfect is a game that will be train is amazing German language skills even more ;-)

Christmas Parties a go go #2

Es war echt ein schöner Nachmittag mit lieben Gästen und einer Menge Spaß -muß wiederholt werden ;-) Ich fühle mich etwas schwerer ob der ganzen Köstlichkeiten die in den 318. Stock geschleppt worden aber wie sagte Conni so schön “Jetzt ist doch eh alles egal” ;-) Danke für den schönen Tag und bis hoffentlich bald Ihr Lieben!

It was a really wonderful afternoon with lot’s of gorgeous guests and a lot of fun – we have to repeat this ;-) I feel a bit bigger now as there were so many yummie things. But as Conni said it right on the nose “No it doesn’t make any difference anymore” ;-) Thank you for this wonderful day and hopefully seeing you soon!

Christmas Parties a go go

Ja – ich vernachlässige meinen Blog- LOL – geht nicht anders- ich bin voll in Action, Arbeit, DT-Deadlines und….Weihnachtsfeiern. Eine jagt die nächste und heute bei mir zuhause die Scrapper-Weihnachtsfeier – sehr schön – freue mich schon riesig. Gestern haben wir das Bäumchen geholt und geschmückt- wir mögen es ja lieber etwas schlichter und nicht zu voll behangen.

Yep – I neglect my blog – LOL – I can’t do anything about it. I have so much work to do, in the office, design team deadlines and…christmas parties. One party after the other and today there is a Scrapper Christmas Party at my place – I’m looking forward.ÂÂ We got our tree yesterday and decorated it a bit – we like it a bit simple and not too full.

DT Work: Scrapmuse

Scrapmuse hat ein neues Gesicht! Schaut mal rein und auch auf dem Blog, denn da gibt es zur Zeit schöne Preise zu gewinnen! Das Forum ist übrigens auch grandios – die Gemeinschaft ist lieb und es gibt kein Gezank und keine Divendramen – rundum angenehm – ich liebe es seit vielen Jahren und war dort schon vor der Entstehung deutscher Foren gerne!

Das Journaling verbirgt sich hinter der C-Klammer. Weihnachten wird bei uns recht relaxt verbracht. Wir können leider auch dieses Jahr aber Weihnachten nicht in die Staaten fliegen, weil ich arbeiten mu߸ – aber dennoch machen wir es uns schön, vereinen die uns liebsten Traditionen aus Amerika und Deutschland und das macht es wiederum für beide Seiten aufregend.

The journaling is hidden behind on the red paper – which can be fold out. With an American Husband and living in Germany we combined all of our favorite christmas traditions and celebrate it relaxed and for each side with a new twist. I love this. I journaled how we do it when we are not visiting our family in the STates- which is sadly enough the case this year too.

Euch wünsche ich noch einen schönen Abend! – ich muß jetzt erstmal noch weiter Geschenke einpacken ;-)
