Mood Bottles – Recycled Glass

I love to recycle for my scrapbooking projects. So here are some juice bottles that I recycled into Mood Bottles :)

Ich liebe es Materialien für meine Scrapbooking Projekte zu recyclen. Hier sind ein paar Saftflaschen die ich in Stimmungsflaschen (Du Flasche- LOL) umgewandelt habe :)

I filled a bit of Glimmer Glam into each of the bottles and shook it around, dried it. Thank added the lace on the top and attached the fairy scraps with the journaling stripes. I then attached the pearls.

Here are the single bottles:

Party Pooper Morning Bottle

Lolly-Pop Midday Bottle

Over The Moon Night Bottle

supplies: 3 juice bottles, Tattered Angels Glimmer Glam, Crafty Secrets Altered Fairy Scraps, Prima Leaves, Prima HalfPearls, Prima Lace
Have a wonderful day!

Euch einen schönen Tag!

Guest Designer for Kits de Somni

I’m so happy to be guest designer for Kits des Somni from Barcelona this month. Such wonderful kits and love the work of the uber-talented designteam. The March Kit includes a mixture of StudioCallico and Cosmo Cricket Papers and I had a lot of fun to work with it.

*I’ll be back*

I loved being in Barcelona last year – it is definetely one of my favorite cities and I want to come back one day. The photo was taken in Park Guell.

I sprayed over a selfmade circle stencil with different Glimmer Mist and then sewed a bit crazy on top to tie the elements together.

*And Then…*

one day it dawned on me there is always light.

For the background I used two different colors of Glimmer Glam. I made a “Banner” with the half circles I cut from the Studio Calico Paper and painted them also with the Glimmer Glam for repitition.

*Beauty Specialist*

Aren’t there little things in life that actually make us feel beautiful?

Most of the times I painted one half of the page with crackle paint, added thinned acrylic paint and wiped it towards the crackled area with a paper towel.

Wishing you a wonderful day!

Wünsche Euch einen tollen Tag !

DT Work: Sunshine Box *myStampBox*

A little sunshine for a friend who has a winter birthday :)

Ein wenig Sonnenschein für eine Freundin, die im Winter Geburtstag hat :)

*Sunshine Box*

I used the Wishing you Sunshine Stampset – and stamped the sun on my accordian style folded paper strip and heat embossed it. I used a metallic box which I had painted and then sanded again to release the embossed pattern before and then attached the folded paper strip inside.

I had used the “Splash Me a Lot” Alpha-Stampset for the Birthday wishes.

Wishing you a wonderful day with a little bit of sunlight :)

DT Work: ScrapTastic Vanilla Frosting Kit Part I

Here we go – the first part of my work with the Vanilla Frosting Kit!

Jetzt geht’s los- der erste Teil meiner Arbeiten mit dem Vanilla Frosting Kit!

*Merry Christmas Canvas*

I painted the background of the canvas with different acrylic paints and layered different techniques. I than cut out the house of the Webster Paper cut out some of the roof shingles and placed them on 3D Foam. Sprayed the whole canvas with Golden Glimmer Mist.

*Believe it, you are beautiful*

Journaling: I’m sure others can relate to those…selfdoubt crank days! There are days when I do not like myself…to short, to big, to ugly…but that is not true of most of your friends – they think you are beautiful and you are.

*Nothing Better…*

…than having my folks home for christmas and taking a well deserved nap! Niles 2000

I used the left over hambly overlay from which I had cut out circles for the “yes” Layout (I will show this later) and added some shadows with watersoluble crayons onto the Webster Paper peaking through. Then I added some “strings” with a marker so the circles appear as ornaments.

Enjoy your day!!!!

Genießt Euren Tag!!!!
