Foil Pin Wheel *Vintage Street Market*

Maybe you have heard me saying before that I really am not the best gift wrapper – LOL – but with Vintage Street Market I seem to get there. At least one of my best friends was pretty impressed getting for once a present wrapped niceley in the beautiful Party Games Paper.

Foil Pinwheel01

I cut two squares – one from the red Foil Paper of the Party Games Kit and the other one from the teal on in the Dimestore Vogue kit . I used the Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L Adhesive Sheets to put those two square together – an easy way to make sure that even if you bent the foil later the two squares are not coming apart. Then I folded the square two times in half diagonally- so I got four triangles and cut those to the middle. I mounted then one of the sides to the middle where I had adhered an Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L 3D Foam Square.I actually posted a tutorial on how to do a pinwheel in 2006 here

On top of that I put a half pearl. Voila- ready to impress friends ;)

Have a wonderful day

Canvas Corp Guestdesigner – Giftbag and two layouts

For a very dear friend I created this little uplifting layout using some of the gorgoeous Canvas Corp Papers and Tag and Cork.

EverythingFairy_01

I love the Kraft Paper as well as the wonderful script paper- so many fun things you can create with them.

As other friends created layouts too I created a little bag out of a 12×12 inch Canvas Sheet by Canvas Corp.

LoveLaughLifeBag01

As the canvas is actually two 12×12 sheets sewn together I was able to simply cut off a stripe and after painting it with different acrylic paints and media I used the Linnen String to make bag for the layouts.

LoveLaughLifeBag02

For people like me that are actually not great in sewing a good way to make a gift bag :)Für Leute wie mich, die eigentlich nicht so gut Nähen können, ist das eine gute Möglichkeit eine Geschenktasche zu machen :)

LoveLaughLifeBag03

And last but not least a Layout also using the gorgeous Canvas Corp Papers.

funTimes

I used the Kraft paper and the Embossed Rose paper which I had painted with Tattered Angels Glimmer Glazes and then sprayed with Glimmer Mist. I also used the Burlap String and the cute little Clothespins. For the Title I used one of the awesome Chalkboard Cards.

Canvas Corp Guestdesigner – Burlap Canvas and a Vase

Burlap is such a great material to use – and I really loved the little burlap canvas by Canvas Corp. Since I also had this Tiny Chair to use for a project I got an idea.

TinyChair_01Small

I painted the burlap canvas with Golden Mica Flakes, attached the Chair, lightbulb and the Linnen String and a Cork Circle.

TinyChair_02Small

As I had used up the Canvas Corp Cork Circles I had the cute glass container they come in as a left over.

FlowerVase_01Small

I simply used some Japanese Washitape around it and then used some of the Canvas Corp Burlap String. It is a great way to recycle and reuse the amazing packaging too.

Canvas Corp Guestdesigner – Pillow

I cannot tell how excited I was when I was invited to guestdesign for Canvas Corp. Ever since I saw the booth last Winter CHA I have been going crazy over those products.

I used the 14″ by 14″ Canvas Pillow Case to create this Pillow

Ich habe die 14″x14″ Leinwand Kissen Bezüge verwendet

Pillow_03Small

With the Pink Paislee Paper I did an Image Transfer using the Gel Medium and then added some other Media and the fun Cork Circles and looped around the Linnen String.

Pillow_02Small

I love how much texture you can create on the canvas pillow- it was so much fun

More to come :) – es kommt noch mehr :)

Nat in Wonderland Canvas

NatsWonderland

This canvas is a collection of many different media and techniques and I taught it last year in Israel and Belgium.

Besides all those media and techniques I also used a huge amount of  SCRAPBOOK ADHESIVES by 3LTM  products.

As you can see I used the White Classic Style Photo Corners to create the tree on the canvas. I also used a lot of the 3D White Foam Pads to create more dimension.

Wonderland_Sneak_01

I love how good the 3D Foam Pads stick to tricky surfaces like paint, canvas and beeswax.

Wonderland_Sneak_02

The Crafty Power Tape is the best double sided adhesive for those surfaces too – I adhere all my paper elements without a problem with it to the surface.

I hope you like my crazy canvas and enjoy the gorgeous weather outside!

Guestdesigner for Scraptivate – Australia

The package I got from Scraptivate was pure deligth -I had such a blast doing my projects for them!

*Carpe Diem*
CarpeDiem01_1200

This is a wooden shadowbox for the wall. I used the German Scraps, Rub’nBuff, the metal clock and the Glass Beads from Scraptivate. Other than that some of Donna Salazzars Papers and Candy Rosenbergs Steampunk Stamps. Tattered Angels Glimmer Glam, Glimmer Mist and Glimmer Glaze.

CarpeDiem02_1200

I painted the German Scraps – black – with golden acrylic paint, wiped it off when it was only partly dry and then also used some of the RubNBuff- to have actually three different colors in it. I also used the RubNBuff on the Foam Letters- Cushies bei Pink Paislee.

*Childhood Shrine*
ChildhoodShrine01_1200

This is a wooden shrine that was included in the kit and that I had to put together- I loved it so much!  I also used German Scraps, Rub’nBuff, a metal clock and Golden Glass Beads. Other than that some of Donna Salazzars Papers, Crafty Secrets Fairy Sheet and Tattered Angels Glimmer Glam and Chalkboard, also Crackle Accents.

ChildhoodShrine02_1200

ChildhoodShrine03_1200

This shrine is symbolic for how in our childhood we just do believe in ourselfs and be ourselfs but when we are growing up we loose all the confidence and this shatters. So this is what I called the Childhood Shrine- as a reminder.

Happy Spring *Tattered Angels*

It is a wonderful spring day today- so what better day than to show this spring tag I created :)

HappySpring_01

I painted the little flowers on the MIST-ab-les with a brush and Suede, Patina, Cranberry Zing and Bronze. The flower is created with an old stripe ripped off from a blouse that I was going to throw away. The color was a light purple, so I sprayed the strip also with Cranberry Zing to go with the rest of the tag.

Have a wonderful day!
