Come and play along saying bye bye to 2010

To wind down a year and appreciate what I created and what I did,  I have been posting my own 12 favorite layouts and 12 favorite photos of the year in the past two years at the end of the year.

Favorite Layouts 2008, Favorite Layouts 2009 and Favorite Photos 2008 and Favorite Photos 2009
I will do the same on the 30th – Ich werde das gleich am 30. machen
Bye2010Layouts

and the 31st – und am 31.

Bye2010Photos

this year on my blog and if you do the same, make sure to step by and leave a comment with a link of your year Bye Bye 2010 posts – I would love to take a look :) ( you can use the images I made and link back to my blog if you want).

Have a gorgeous day! Euch einen schönen Tag!

Last Minute Christmas Tags *SCRAPBOOK ADHESIVES by 3L*

It is this time of the year where we are celebrating the holidays with our loved ones and as all of you I’m looking forward to spend lot’s of time with them. Nonetheless the last days before Christmas are filled with lot’s of tasks – and one of them is wrapping up the gifts and labeling them. I love doing my own tags for Christmas gifts

Christmas2010_01_3L

This year I used all kind’s of scraps that were still laying around my craft area to build up some tags and my trusty SCRAPBOOK ADHESIVES by 3L products helped me creating them in a fast and easy way.

I used a sheet of Adhesive sheets and used it partly on the paper doily.

ChristmasTag_01

Then I sprinkled some German Glitter on top.

ChristmasTag_02

Then I sprayed a Tattered Angels Tag and as you need a very trusty tacky Adhesive to place it on top of the German Glitter – I happily took out my Crafty Power Tape.
ChristmasTag_03

Voila – the tag sticks perfectly on top of the glitter doily.

ChristmasTag_04

To create a rosetta I used some Tattered Angels Crepe Paper and the MyStik Permanent Strip Dispenser and run it around a scalloped piece of scrap paper.
ChristmasTag_05

To add some dimension I used the 3D Foam Squares to apply the scallop on top.

ChristmasTag_06

I also used the Click’n Stick Mounting Squares clear and folded them together to use them to stick down the flower on top. They are awesome to use for buttons as well.

ChristmasTag_07

There are many possibilties to create a Christmas tag – just count on your SCRAPBOOK ADHESIVES by 3L products and all will be looking good ?

Australia…here I come :))))

Wow- that was a secret hard to keep. It was one of many but by far the biggest :)I’m so stoked  for my friend Sherry Mendoza who is on a new bussiness adventure with her “Your Creative Journey“s. And guess who will be the first teacher she is inviting to Australia? Little old me :))))) See the smile- that would go around my head if I had no ears- LOL

Here is the workshop I will be teaching – hier ist der Workshop, den ich unterrichten werde:

Photos: Winter Impressions

I definetley like my office also for doing things differently than others :) So this year we decided that instead of a Christmas Party we would do a Christmas Hike followed by a nice coffee and then dinner just outside of Hamburg. We had a lot of fun and it was really cool….well…also temperature wise.

DSC_1562

We did a guided hike through an old water reservatation and learned a lot and it was really magic hiking along the rive Elbe through the snow with the city skyline just behind us.
