Do you have a wishlist?
I can’t believe that Christmas is approaching fast and there come the usual yearly questions: What do you wish for? The normal answer is “Oh, you really do not have to give me anything” – LOL – but actually this year I thought I might just have a little wishlist and if some familymembers *WINK* take a look at it- the get some inspiration – LOL.
Ich kann es kaum glauben, dass Weihnachten schon so bald vor der Türe steht und da kommen dann ja auch immer die üblichen Fragen: Was wünschst Du Dir? Die normale Antwort ist: “Oh, Du brauchst mir wirklich nichts zu schenken” – LOL – aber vielleicht sollte ich das dieses Jahr mal anders machen und eine kleine Wunschliste erstellen – na und wenn irgendein Familienmitglied *ZWINKER* einen Blick drauf wirft – dann kriegt dieses vielleicht eine Anregung – LOL
I so fell in Love with those stamps by Webster’s Pages – ohhhh
I’m totally addicted- although I’m a coffee nerd- to the some of the Teavana Teas- especially the White Ayurvedic Chai Tea ….and it is almost empty….CRY!!!
I really would love to have this book – I’m so into the Zentangle look – but I need a starting point :)
Last Winter CHA I saw those new Stazon Metallic Inkpads and I was like “MUST HAVE” and then I forgot- but ….I remember – LOL
Bei derWinter CHA sah ich diese neuen Stazon Metallic Inkpadsund ich wußte “MUSSUHABEN” -und dann habe ich sie total vergessen – aber …nu erinnere ich mich – LOL
And then….ARGGGHHH – I just realized that my Helma 2step Crackle Medium is vanishing FAST. And I tell you – I love love love this stuff- I use it a lot lately.
Und dann….arrrghhhh – fällt mir gerade auf, dass mein Helmar 2Step Crackle Medium in RASENDER Geschwindigkeit verbraucht wird. Und ich sag es auch – Ich liebe liebe liebe dieses Zeug – ich verwende is fast überall in der letzten Zeit.
Well – let’s see if Santa is fullfilling me one of those wishes ;) What are your wishes ? Share :)

Very good point Cuchy. But especially with the dark colors and the thin cheaper wood it is not a problem. Since Glimmer Mist settles the paint first on the surface – so if you have a dark color you do not need much :)

Just a doubt: Haven’t you used a primer before spraying? Doesn’t the wood absorb too much paint if it’s not primed?

I’m so excited – tomorrow I will be launching my first Scrapbook-Trends -Newsletter. In my monthly newsletters I will keep you up to date with news, upcoming workshops, recaps and photos of past workshops&events, favorite techniques, trend and tools as well as with links to tutorials, inspirations and wonderful findings and more in the www. I decided to create the newsletter in the universal language :) English – but if you view the newsletter in your browser you will even be able to translate it with Google Translator :)
Ich bin ja so aufgeregt – moren werde ich meinen ersten Scrapbook-Trends-Newsletter verschicken. In meinem montlichen Newsletter werde ich Euch über News, bevorstehende Workshops, Berichte und Photos über vergangene Workshops&Events, Lieblingstechniken, Trends und Werkzeuge, sowie mit Links zu Tutorials und wunderbaren Fundstücken und mehr im Internet auf dem Laufenden halten. Ich habe lange darüber nachgedacht, ob ich den Newsletter in zwei Sprachen oder gar zwei Newsletter, einen auf Deutsch und auf Englisch oder einfach nur auf Englisch schreibe. Schweren Herzens habe ich mich entschlossen ihn lediglich in Englisch zu verfassen – Ihr werdet aber in der Lage sein, den Newsletter auch in Eurem Internet-Browser zu öffnen und dann alles ins – wenn auch nicht soooo gute – LOL – Deutsche übersetzen zu lassen.

DT Work: Using CD Pockets for creating fun Mail Art *Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L*
As the days get shorter I have more time to prepare invitations and gifts as well as sum mail to send out. I love to send out Mail Art and one of the products from SCRAPBOOK ADHESIVES by 3L I like to use are their CD Pockets. You can actually use them not only for the obvious storing of CD – no – you can do some fun things with them. But see yourself in my video:

This layout was also published in the Fall Issue of ScrapArtZine- my Uncle Walter in School – boy – he looks so serious in this picture- but he was the funniest guy in the world :)

DT-Work: Door Sign *Tattered Angels*
So as you might noticed :) our theme at Tattered Angels is WOOD this month. One of my projects was new Namesign for our door. I used a wooden board and also a natural wood sticker – which shows a deer.
Ihr werdet es vielleicht schon gesehen haben :) diesen Monat haben wir den Fokus auf HOLZ bei Tattered Angels. Eines meiner Projekte war eine neue Türschild. Ich habe ein Holzboard und einen Holz-Hirsch-Sticker verwendet.
I used the new Winter Glimmer Mist color Gumdrop and Jack Frost for the back and on the sticker I painted a bit Glimmer Glam- Hay Ride and then used Glimmer Mist Tattered Leather on top. I also used some of the new border stamps and spelled our name with the Framed Watch Fonts.
Ich habe die neuen Winter Glimmer Mist Farben Gumdrop und Jack Frost für den Hintergrund genommen – und auf dem Sticker habe ich ein wenig HayRide Glimmer Glam gestrichen und dann mit Glimmer Mist Tattered Leather drübergesprüht. Ich habe auch einige der neuen Border Stempel benutzt und unseren Namen mit den Framed Watch Fonts aufgebracht.
It is really fun to use the products on wood. So many possibilities :)
Es hat so viel Spaß gemacht, die Produkte auf Holz zu benutzen. So viele Möglichkeiten :)
