Berlin Berlin or How you remember old layouts

Gestern also Tag der Wiedervereinigung.

Yesterday we had a German holiday: Reunification Day. Somehow I had this song of my youth in my head – early 80’s – anyone remembers Fisher-Z and Berlin?

Wahnsinn – LOL

And this then reminded me on a layout I created in my beginning of Scrapbooking – in May 2006. Crazy – LOL

And now I will carry boxes like a maniac – have I told you already that I hate moving – esp. Office Movings? I really hope that you have a wonderful weekend!

Yes, I was in both Berlins in the early 80’s… It made a lifelong impression on me. Also, it was ‘Da,Da,Da…
I was a student then. Wish it was easier to visit again, would love to come in winter & Christmas times.

Congrats to Deutschland on this celebration.

I can *so* not believe that you’ve only been scrapping for two years! Your work is too awesome! (And has been from the beginning)

nat, you know I love anything about Berlin so this is very cool. I lived in Berlin for about 4 years when I was growing up. 3 years when I was a little older in Weisband. I miss Germany. I was back there in 1990 right after the wall came down, but before reunification. Thanks for bringing back some memories for me.

Don’t know this song, but it sounds like they stole their opening riff from The Clash, London Calling. Or maybe The Clash stole it from them…
