DT-Work: Home Sweet Home *Tattered Angels*

This little wooden bird house found a new home :)

Birdhouse01

I used Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist and Glimmer Chalkboard as well as some Glimmer Glam on the base and then used a Tattered Angels Swirl Stamp and stamped randomly. On the wonderful wooden DieCut I used different Glimmer Glazes and Glimmer Glam. For the roof I used some flocked paper and painted it with Chalkboard and also Glimmer Glam.

Birdhouse02

I had so much fun working on this…I think I might do a another one :)

Have a wonderful day!!!

Punky Sprouts: Non je ne regrette rien/I don’t regret anything Album

This album was inspired by the wonderful and powerful song Non je ne regrette rien by Edith Piaf – if you don’t know it- you have to listen to it :)

No, nothing at all,
No, I don’t regret anything!
Neither the good that’s been done to me,
Nor the bad;
It’s all the same to me!

No, nothing at all,
No, I don’t regret anything!
It’s been payed for,
swept (away),
Forgotten.
I don’t care about the past!

With my memories
I have lit the fire!
My disappointments, my pleasures,
I no longer need them.
Swept away are the loves
with their trembling,
swept away forever!
I start again at zero.

No, nothing at all,
No, I don’t regret anything!
Neither the good that’s been done to me,
Nor the bad;
It’s all the same to me!

No, nothing at all,
No, I don’t regret anything!
Because my life,
because my joy,
today
begins with you!

I loved altering it with their Acrylic Paints and their recycled glass embellishments.

Altered: Free Canvas

This Canvas uses some supplies I really had a hard time to use – it is this feeling when you don’t want to use something that you love so much because you fear  that the outcome of your work wouldn’t do this special piece justice. I had this feeling with my Vintaj Pieces and as well as with the buttons which I had hold on to so long. But every clinging has to come to an end – LOL – and here you see the outcome of letting go…a canvas

I am you
You are ME

I think it was good to let go….I love it :)

Tattered Angels: Well-Behaved Women- Canvas

This canvas shows the photo of my grandaunt Margot after she played pretty wild on the street. Her father wanted to document her looks – the pants are showing, the bow is not straight anymore! I love this and it also shows my great grandfather had a good sense of humor by taking this picture :)
