Rome Shadowbox
Here is another project I created for CHA with the Color Connections Companies. Rome wasn’t built in one day- but the project had to be.
Hier ist noch ein Projekt, dass ich für die CHA mit den Color Connections Produkten hergestellt habe. Rom wurde ja nicht an einem Tag erbaut, aber die Box hier mußte es werden.
I turned the wooden Walnut Hollow canvas around and used it as a shadow box. The Mistables Paper was painted with the Tattered Angels Walnut Hollow Color Pack – as well as the flowers, the title and the frame.
Ich habe den hölzernen Rahmen von Walnut Hollow umgedreht und als Shadowbox verwendet. Die Mistables Paper habe ich mit dem Walnut Hollow Color Pack bemalt- und auch die Blumen, den Titel und den Rahmen.
See the E…well I had to “fake” it since I didn’t reveice an E- LOL. I think I did pretty good ;) And you know I was sooo smart – I thought when I had the Rome idea- because in German it is just Rom…but then it dawned on me…wouldn’t fly well at CHA- everybody would think I’m not quite a spelling bee huh…?
Seht Ihr das E…na ja- das musste ich mir herzaubern, da ich ja kein E erhalten hatte- LOL. Ich war ja sooo schlau als ich das Projekt began – Rom…ne….jahahaaa- aber halt nicht in Englisch… da ist es mir wieder eingefallen- fehlt ‘n E…wäre dann wohl eher peinlich gewesen bei der CHA – ne?
Supplies: 12×12 Walnut Hollow Wooden Canvas, Pink Paislee Mistable paper, Tattered Angels Walnut Hollow Color Pack. Pink Paisle Mistables Chipboard Alphas, Pink Paislee Mistables Journaling Tags, Prima Innoscence Flowers.

Color Connections Heritage Shadowbox
This shadowbox was created as a special assignment for CHA Summer 2011 for all the Color Connections Companies (Tattered Angels, Prima Marketing, Pink Paislee and Walnut Hollow) – It was so much fun but also scary (for example if you only have two sheets of papers or the prototype letters mnopqrst for three projects ;) – so no testing, screwing up ) working with all the newest -by then still secret poducts by Pink Paislee and Prima Marketing.
Diese Shadowbox habe ich für einen speziellen Auftrag für CHA Sommer 2011 für all die Color Connections Firmen (Tattered Angels, Prima Marketing, Pink Paislee und Walnut Hollow) – It was so much fun- aber auch ein wenig gruselig (wenn man zum Beispiel nur zwei Papier für drei Projekte oder nur die Prototyp Buchstaben mnopqrst bekommt ;) – also nix mit ausprobieren oder Fehlern), mit den Neuesten – jedenfalls damals noch geheimen Produkten von Pink Paislee und Prima Marketing zu arbeiten.
This is my personal favorite project out of the three I had to make. My grandaunt Margot, who I visited yesterday (miss her so much!), and her parents…my great grandparents. I love this picture and have used it before- but it is special for me and that is what counts ;)
Dies ist mein persönlicher Favorit von den drei Projekten, welche ich kreieren musste. Meine Großtante Margot (vermisse sie schon jetzt!), und ihre Eltern…meine Urgroßeltern. Ich liebe dieses Phote und habe es auch schon vorher verwendet – aber es ist besonders für mich und das ist es, was zählt ;)
I used the new Pink Paislee Mistable’s Mask on the Walnut Hollow wooden Canvas- which I just turned into a Shadowbox. I love the texture with Gesso and the Tattered Angels Glimmer Glam on top and the Chalkboard – I mixed both up here. I wish you could see it in real life :)
Ich habe die neue Pink Paislee Mistables Mask auf der umgedrehten Holzleinwand von Walnut Hollow verwendet. Ich liebe die Texture mit Gesso und dem Tattered Angels Glimmer Glam und Chalkboard – ich habe beide Farben hier zusammengemischt. Ich wünschte Ihr könntet es in Echt beschauen :)

Are you going in cuffs?
Leather cuffs – not police cuffs- hopefully ;) When I got those Ruby Violet leather cuffs by Prima for my CHA Projects- I have to say I was first a bit …like….sigh….so 80’s…..what am I going to do with those?… cause to tell you the truth…I wasn’t big on the 80s-fashion. Honestly! But then I looked at them, they really spoke to me “hey, Nat…..come one…play with us! ” and so I did and I really really love the outcome – and you might see me soon wearing one of those – 2011 style ;) .
Leder-“Handschellen” – nicht die Hamburger Acht ;) Als ich diese Ruby Violet Lederarmbänder von Prima für meine CHA-Projekte bekam- war ich ehrlicherweise erstmal ein wenig …na ja….so 80ziger…was mach ich denn damit, denn ich war niemals ein großer Fan der 80iger Jahre Mode. Aber dann habe ich mir die Teilchen nochmal angeschaut und die haben mich ständig von der Seite angequatscht “hey Nat,…komm schon…spiel mit uns!” Na ja…das habe ich dann gemacht und nun finde ich die voll cool – und vielleicht seht Ihr mich ja mal mit einem dieser Teilchen – 2011 -Style ;) .
For this fabric covered cuff I used the Printerey Collection.
Bei diesem mit Stoff bezogenen Armband habe ich die neue Printery Kollektion verwendet
This Cuff is actually orange but I realized you can wear the cuffs from both sides and I liked the pink side better.
Dieses hier ist eigentlich orange, aber ich habe festgestellt. dass man die Bänder von beiden Seiten tragen kann- und die pinke Seite gefiel mir viel besser.

Schultüte *Vintage Street Market*
Schultüte? What is this? LOL- well I talked about this in a post before. Let’s translate this German Word into School Cone. When German kids have their first day in school they get a cardboard cone filled with school supplies and sweets. It is a big deal for the kids and makes the first day of school even more spectacular. I still have mine on the attic at my Mom’s house which a friend of hers created with her and now one of my best friends and mother of my oldest godson asked me to create one with her for her youngest one.
Na – Euch brauch ich ja nicht erklären was eine Schultüte ist ;) Meine Freundin und mein Patenkind haben uns jedenfalls letztens dran gemacht eine solche für den kleinen Linus zu gestalten und das Vintage Street Market Papier war dafür perfect geeignet.
So my friend and my godson had a creative morning to create this little surprise and we had a lot of fun. The Party Games Paper was such a fitting theme and the size was perfect to cover this pretty big cone :)
We used the Crepe Paper from the Party Games and the Dimestore Vogue Kit and applied it to the top . We also spelled out Linus’ name mounting the Party Games Letters on sturdier carstock and 3D Foam Pads by Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L™.
We used the die cut tags from the Party Games Kit and mounted a little chalk piece on it (ok…not so little ;) ) .
And look how proud and cute my sweet godson looks with the Schultüte for his brother in his hand. This was an absolute fun morning and I’m sure Linus will love his Schultüte when he has his first school day next month :)

Ist die genial !!! Ich wollte die Tüte für Nico immer gern selbst machen, bin aber daran verzeifelt und war froh, dass er eine gekaufte haben wollte. Hätte er diese Tüte gesehen, wäre ich aus der Nummer sicher nicht rausgekommen :o)

Shadow Box *SAZ Summer 2011*
This Ranger Shadow Box was published in the Summer ScrapArtZine 2011. I originally created it last winter and it was one of my christmas gifts for my sister in law. I really love creating those shadowboxes and if I had more room- I would make more of them :)
Dieser Ranger Setzkasten war in der letzten ScrapArtZine 2011 veröffentlicht. Ich habe ihn ursprünglich letzten Winter kreiert und war ein Weihnachtsgeschenk für meine Schwägerin. Ich liebe diese Setzkästen und wenn ich mehr Platz hier hätte, würde ich auch mehr davon machen :)

Art House *SAZ Summer 2011*

Color Connections CHA Sneaks
Color Connections™ coordinating products debuted at Winter CHA 2011 with Tattered Angels, Prima Marketing and Pink Paislee. For this year’s Summer CHA Walnut Hollow was added to the team. So here are some sneaks of what I have been working on for CHA with all four companies and their newest Mistables :)
