DT-Work: Das bin ich (This is me)

Dieses Layout war veröffentlicht in der Herbstausgabe der Scrapartzine. Eine Vorstellung für die Designteammitglieder.

Einen hoffentlich nicht so stürmischen Tag- der Baum vor meinem Fenster macht ganz schön die Biege :-)

Chatty Natty Part III

Ok -neuer Name für die Laber-Ecke ;-) Hat Kimmy ja so schön getauft- LOL – greif ich dann mal auf.

Alrighty – a new name for my blather corner ;) Kimmy named it so beautifuly – LOL – so there you go.

Diese Woche war ja sehr aufregend – in vielerlei Hinsicht. Nicht nur eine durchgemachte Nacht von Dienstag auf Mittwoch – mit grandiosem Ausgang :-), nein ich hatte auch viele Verabredungen diese Woche – sozusagen positiver Freizeitstress :) Da passt doch fürs Wochenende dieses schöne Foto – aufgenommen auf dem Schulterblatt in Hamburg.

This weeks was pretty exciting – in a lot of ways. Not only did I stay up the night from Tuesday to Wednsday with an amazing result :-). No – on top I had a lot of dates with friends this week – you could say positive leisure stress was in the air :-) So this photo is pretty significant for my plans for the weekend. I took it on my way to work here in Hamburg.

Und nachdem ich dieses Video gesehen habe werde ich sicherlich ein wenig ins Kreativ-Nirvana abdriften. Grandios – die 18 Minuten dieser Präsentation einer Gehirnforscherin, die selbst einen Schlaganfall erlitt, sind es unbedingt wert zu gesehen zu werden,

And as I saw this video I’m planning to sneak into my little Creative Nirvana this weekend. Watch the presentation of a brain scientist who experienced a stroke.

Und diese Farben – die ich bei meinen Streifzug durch die Nachbarschaft in einem schönen Laden entdeckte, haben mir gleich eine Idee gegeben!

And those colors I saw in a wonderful little shop in my neighborhood got me a pretty good idea for something!

Ich platze gerade nur so vor Ideen – manche sind ziemlich abwegig auf dem ersten Blick – aber was solls- ich habe sie mir alle notiert, denn wer weiß – LOL! Auch die erste Computer Maus in den 60er Jahren wurde als ziemlich abwegig angesehen – und schaut mal was daraus geworden ist ;-) (*snigger)

I’m having a lot of ideas right now – some of them a pretty weird – but whatever – I put them all down on paper- because who knows – LOL! The first Computer Mouse shown in the 60s was pretty weird too – and look what came out of it ;) (*snigger*)

DT Work: Oh Boy Rose Moka

Das Layout habe ich ebenfalls vor Monaten gemacht- das erste meiner Rose Moka Layouts. Es hat kein Journaling- und das ist gut so – braucht man nämlich nicht immer – LOL – schaut einfach die Fotos an ;) Muss in der Familie liegen:)

This layout was created months ago – it was one of my first Rose Moka Layouts. It has no journaling – and that is fine – it doesn’t need journaling – LOL – just look at the photos ;) I guess it runs in the family :)

*Oh Boy*

Supplies: Rose Moka Papers and STickers, Heidi Swap Letters, Markers, Tape and Acrylic Paint.

I’m chatty :-) – Part II

Ihr habt gesagt, ich soll ruhig öfter rumlabern…na denn – LOL

You wrote me I should be chatty more often …ok then – LOL

Hier ist ein Foto eines Sonnenaufgangs der letzten Woche, den ich von meinem Zimmer aus sehen konnte. Grandios, oder?

Here is a photo of a sunrise last week which I was able to see from my creative room. Amazing, isn’t it?

Und dann als ich dieser Tage auf dem Weg zur Arbeit war – sah ich einen Geldtransporter – mit einem Aufkleber der Bundesregierung…oder so dachte ich beim ersten Hinschauen.

And then when I was on my way to work I saw an armored car – with a sticker by our government (this is what they look like usually) – LOL – but I had to look twice.

Man kann es nicht so gut lesen, weil ich nicht gut an den Transporter ran kam: Ihr Geld kommt an! Deutschland rettet Banken – schnell, sicher, unbürokratisch. Extra III Fans werden diesen Transporter sicherlich schon in Buxtehude gesehen haben.

It says “You money will arrive safely! Germany rescues banks – fast, safe, unbureaucratic” There was a little fun biting “hidden camera” movie on our local TV about the 500 Billion Bail-Out Program the German Government just signed. In the movie clip they showed where our tax money goes. The armoured car was full with faked money boxes and faked soldiers. They were carrying money boxes into banks asking if they need to get safed. Most of the Banks assured that there is no need to get rescued. Quite comical ! you know, laughing keeps you sane somtimes :-)

It’s that time of the year: Secret Santa Ornament Swap

Auch dieses Jahr gibt es eine Auflage des Geheimen Weihnachtsbaumanhänger Wichtelns. :-) Wenn Ihr also Lust habt einen Anhänger zu basteln und diesen an jemanden weiterzuschicken, dann meldet Euch noch diese Woche bei mir per Email bis Sonntag: nathalie.kalbach(at)gmail.com. Schreibt mir bitte, ob Ihr auch international versenden würdet und Eure Adresse. Ich emaile Euch dann Ende der nächsten Woche den Namen Eures Empfängers! Der Anhänger muss bis zum 01.
