SCRAPMUSE ANNOUNCES NEW WEB SITE AND GIVEAWAYS

ScrapMuse, the online scrapbooking shop and mid-month kit club that provides “inspiration when you need it,” is pleased to announce its new Web site at www.scrapmuse.com The new site provides fresh graphics and easy access to the online store, kit club, gallery, forum and blog. A monthly, free newsletter is filled with scrapbooking designs, tips and articles from the ScrapMuse design team. A new For Boys Only section will offer scrapbooking supplies suitable for pages about boys and men.

#10 – Wrapping this year

Eingefleischte Ikea-Besucher werden es wohl erkannt haben ;-) Dieses Jahr kleiden sich unsere Geschenke ganz im Design eines großen schwedischen Möbelhauses.

Some of you might know what it is ;-) This year our presents are wrapped in a design by a huge swedish furniture store ;-)

#11 – the tree

Mit einer Negativ-Embossing Technique habe ich hier den Hintergrund gestaltet. Der Baum ist echt und duftet schön und die Ornamente sind zumeist selbstgemacht.

The background was created with a negative embossing technique. The tree is real and smells nicely. Most of the ornaments are self made.

#12 – what do you miss about past christmases

Ja – ein wenig vermisse ich ja schon, dass ich nicht mehr an das Christkind glaube ;-)

Well – I miss it a little bit to not believe in Santa anymore.

#13 – What would be the coolest present for you?

Ach – eigentlich reicht es als Geschenk für mich, Zeit miteinander zu verbringen – ehrlich!

Seriously – the biggest present for me is spending time together!

#14 – Christmas Songs

Weihnachtslieder mag ich schon sehr gerne- aber nicht schon ab September und nicht non stop.

I like christmas songs – but not from September on and not non stop!

Wir sind zuhause – auch schÃön!

#16 – Grateful for…

Weihnachten bietet ja doch immer die Gelegenheit besonders viel Zeit mit der Familie und mit Freunden zu verbringen – ein Grund sich zu freuen.

Christmas is a time that offers the possibility to spend more time with family and friends – something to be grateful for.

#17 – A present that will be just perfect

Diese Jahr gibt es eine Fülle von Geschenken – kleinere und größere für J. aber eines was perfekt ist, ist …nun ich sag nur “Gemischtes Doppel” ;-)

This year DH gets a lot of little and big presents but one that is perfect is a game that will be train is amazing German language skills even more ;-)

Es war echt ein schöner Nachmittag mit lieben Gästen und einer Menge Spaß -muß wiederholt werden ;-) Ich fühle mich etwas schwerer ob der ganzen Köstlichkeiten die in den 318. Stock geschleppt worden aber wie sagte Conni so schön “Jetzt ist doch eh alles egal” ;-) Danke für den schönen Tag und bis hoffentlich bald Ihr Lieben!

It was a really wonderful afternoon with lot’s of gorgeous guests and a lot of fun – we have to repeat this ;-) I feel a bit bigger now as there were so many yummie things. But as Conni said it right on the nose “No it doesn’t make any difference anymore” ;-) Thank you for this wonderful day and hopefully seeing you soon!

Ja – ich vernachlässige meinen Blog- LOL – geht nicht anders- ich bin voll in Action, Arbeit, DT-Deadlines und….Weihnachtsfeiern. Eine jagt die nächste und heute bei mir zuhause die Scrapper-Weihnachtsfeier – sehr schön – freue mich schon riesig. Gestern haben wir das Bäumchen geholt und geschmückt- wir mögen es ja lieber etwas schlichter und nicht zu voll behangen.

Yep – I neglect my blog – LOL – I can’t do anything about it. I have so much work to do, in the office, design team deadlines and…christmas parties. One party after the other and today there is a Scrapper Christmas Party at my place – I’m looking forward.ÂÂ We got our tree yesterday and decorated it a bit – we like it a bit simple and not too full.

Scrapmuse hat ein neues Gesicht! Schaut mal rein und auch auf dem Blog, denn da gibt es zur Zeit schöne Preise zu gewinnen! Das Forum ist übrigens auch grandios – die Gemeinschaft ist lieb und es gibt kein Gezank und keine Divendramen – rundum angenehm – ich liebe es seit vielen Jahren und war dort schon vor der Entstehung deutscher Foren gerne!

Ich habe heute richtig gute Laune- es hat mal nicht geregnet und ich habe lauter kleine schöne Sachen gekauft und ein paar große – LOL. Hier ein paar Sachen die mich happy gemacht haben:

Wir hatten ein schönes Wochenende im Rheinland und haben den 88. Geburtstag meiner Tante Margot gefeiert. Ein Wochenende voller schöner Erlebnisse und Kindheitserinnerungen! Hach ;-)

We had a gorgeous weekend in the Rhineland and celebreated my grandaunt Margot’s 88th birthday. It was a wonderful weekend full with beautiful experiments and childhood memories!

Love her sooo much!!

Und dann geht es auch schon los in eine sehr ereignisreiche Woche – Besuche, Weihnachtsfeiern, Deadlines, Arbeit- puhhhh – ich wüsche Euch nicht allzu viel Stre߸!!!

Hier nun die Seiten 4, 5 und 6 meines Christmas Journals. Die Sterne bei Seite 4 sind mit Glimmer Mist besprüht und glitzern wunderschön ;-). Der Adventskalender ist vom FC St. Pauli – der ist doch echt genial!!! Und bei Nummer 6 habe ich den Stern mit roter Acrylfarbe bemalt und auf die noch nasse Farbe Embossing Powder gestreut und dann erhitzt- den Effekt finde ich recht schön.

Heute ist also Nikolaustag – die englische Version wird länger- denn Euch brauche ich das ja nicht erklären ;-) Seid Ihr alle artig gewesen und habt was im Schuh gehabt? Ich wars und habe zusätzlich auch mein Designteam Kit von Scrapmuse erhalten – soooo cool!!! Das Kit rockt – ich liebe es – ich kann es gar nicht abwarten anzufangen!

Today is Saint Nicholas Day in Germany – meaning Saint Nicholas comes in the middle of the night and fills our shoes and boots with goodies – if you were naughty you might only get coal and a branch inside your boots. I was nice ;-) On top I got my design team kit by Scrapmuse today – sooo cool!!! This Kit rocks – I love it – can’t wait to start!

Heute zeige ich Euch mal ein paar Fotos des Ornament Swaps- ich habe leider nicht von allen Fotos bekommen- so sind es also nicht so viele. Wer seine Ornamente noch nicht abgeschickt hat, tue dies doch bitte diese Woche, damit wir alle uns gleich noch in diesem Monat erfreuen können ;-)

I think you were nice too and that is why I show you a couple of photos of the Secret Ornament Swap. I haven’t received photos from all participants yet so these are just a few photos. If you haven’t send out the ornament so far- please do it this week, so that your recipant can enjoy the ornament in christmas time ;-)
