    Die Layouts sind ja super cool! Besonders gut gefällt mir der Vogel! Das ist doch von einem mask oder? Von Heidi Swapp? Finde es super schön, wenn man auch ältere Fotos (von seinen Eltern und Großeltern – und wenns geht noch älter) verscrappt, da ehrt man seine Familie so mit! Ganz tolles Layout! die anderen sind natürlich auch super!

    Kein Wunder, daß du die Papiere liebst…sehen wunderschön aus, wenn ich durch das Wetter nicht schon so gute Laune hätte, dann würden mir die Papiere helfen.
    Wunderschöne Layouts allesamt und ich finde deinen Scraptisch sehr übersichtlich, da solltest du mal sehen, wie es bei mir aussieht!

DT-Work: ScrapMuse July Kit Part I

Das Kit hat unglaublich viel Spaß gemacht- die Papiere, die Masken, die Stempel – genial!!! Also hier erstmal Part I meiner Arbeiten.

Retrospective Challenge: #7 When I grow up…

Eine neue Retro-Challenge! Diesesmal mit der Frage, was wolltet Ihr mal werden, als Ihr jünger ward? Ich war ja total überzeugt Tierärztin werden zu wollen, Tiere waren mein Leben. Dann wurde mir irgendwann klar, daß man operieren muß und weitaus schlimmer ein Tier auch mal einschläfern müßte. Also schnell was anderes gesucht ;-) Als nächstes kam der Traum Publizistik zu studieren und mal Journalistin zu werden – natürlich eine richtig gute ;-) Und dann ist es aber Jura geworden- mmmmmhhh – man wundert sich ;-) Was wolltet also Ihr werden? Ich freue mich, wenn Ihr mitmacht und mir die Layouts bis zum 4. August 2007 emailt.

A new Retro-Challenge! This time with the question what you wanted to be when you grow up? I was totally convinced that I wanted to be a vet, because pets were my life. But when I became aware of the fact that I might have to operate them and…even worse that I might have to put a pet to sleep. So I had to find something else very quick :-) My next goal was to study journalism and be a really good and famours political journalist one day. And then I studied LAW – one wonders what happened ;-) So, what did you wanted to be as a grown up? I would be really happy if you participate and you can send me your layouts till August 4th 2007.


Journaling reads: I had several plans for my career when I grew up – first I wanted to be a vet – I love pets but when we had to put our dog Sandi to sleep I nknew I couldn’t be one. My second plan was to become a journalist. I have no clue what happened I why I dropped it. Instead I studied law and hated it. Now I’m a paralegal…what a change!

Studio DaphNat: Layered Masking Tape Technique Results

Hier sind wir wieder :-) Daphne und ich! Wir hatten eine etwas längere Pause gemacht, denn erst war ich im Urlaub, dann Daphne und dann…mußte Daphne sich ja noch an die “neuen Umstände” gewöhnen :-) Endlich darf ich es sagen – ich freue mich riesig!
Und wir machen genau da weiter, wo wir beim letzten Mal aufgehört haben: Den Ergebnissen der “Reiss-das-Malerkrepp-in-Fetzen-Technik“. Hier habe ich eine Karte gemacht – schaut auch mal bei Daphne vorbei! Die nächste Technik kommt – versprochen!

Here we are again :-) Daphne and I! We had a longer break – because first I went on vacation, then Daphne and finally…Daphne had to get used to her “new happy circumstances” :-) Finally I can talk about it – I’m so happy for her!!! And we will proceed right there we stopped last time: Here are the results of the Layered Masking Tape Technique. I created a card – and take a look also at Daphne‘s results! The next technique will come soon – promised!

Finding You: I Can Do It

Nachdem ich mir gestern das allererste Mal seit ich in Hamburg wohne eine Regenjacke gekauft habe…scheint die Sonne und es wird richtig heiß – cool! :-) :-) Die letzten Tage hatte ich sehr viele Layouts für die ScrapArtZIne und für ScrapMuse zu machen, welche ich noch nicht zeigen darf…aber dieses hier, das kann ich zeigen :-)

Finally after I bought for the first time since living in Hamburg a rain jacket…the sun shines and it is getting really hot – so cool! :-) :-) The last couple days I had to create a lot of layouts for ScrapArtZine and for ScrapMuse and I can’t show them yet….but this here I can show :-)

Deck of Me: Card #27

Diese Woche sprang Ali Edwards für Emily ein und ihr Thema war “Werbung/oder Müll-Post”. Etwas schwerig, ehrlich gesagt, denn so viel Werbung bekommen wir glücklicherweise nicht und wer jemals in einem amerikanischen Haushalt war, weiß, daß die Werbung an manchen Tagen riesige Stapel der normalen Post ausmacht. Aber das nette Kaffee an der Ecke hat ein paar flyer verteilt und die waren dann ganz nützlich um die Karte zu gestalten :-)

This week Ali Edwards helped Emily and the task was “junk mail”. This is a bit difficult as we are luckily enough don’t get that much junk mail and who ever had been to an American home knows that junk mail makes a huge deal of the daily mail. But the nice coffee at the corner of our street had put some flyers in the mail box and those were just right to create the card :-)

Und dann stellt sich noch die Frage: “Wann wird es endlich wieder Sommer?” Ich bin schon ganz deprimiert – es ist unglaublich oder? Seit Wochen nur Regen und Kälte – mmmpfff. Was macht Ihr gegen “Der-Sommer-bleibt-Weg-Depressionen”?

And there is also the question: “When will the summer arrive?” I’m really getting depressed. For weeks it is raining cats and dogs and cold. What are you doing against “The-Summer-That-Never-Came-Depressions”?

Deck of Me: Card #26

Wow- ich kann es gar nicht glauben, daß schon Halbzeit ist beim Deck of Me von Emily. Da Emily ein kleines Mädchen geboren hat, geht es diese Woche um eben diese: Mädchen.

Wow – I can’t believe it is half time with Emily’s Deck of Me. As Emily gave birth to a little baby girl this will be the topic of the week: Girls.

Und meinereiner wird sich jetzt um die Vorbereitung der Geburtstagsfeier kümmern!!! Es ist doch ganz schön, wenn sich so ein Tag ein wenig länger hinzieht :-) Übrigens das Album habe ich noch nicht, sobald ich es habe, werde ich mich natürlich bei Euch allen jeweils persönlich melden!!! Ein schönes Wochende!!!

And now I will do my birthday party preparations!!! It is kind of fun to celebrate this day a couple days :-) Oh and by the way – I don’t have the wonderful album you all created for me not yet, but as soon as I have it, I will write you all personally! Have a grgoeus weekend!!!
