Lot’s of texture in the background, some stenciling in the background, then using a star stencil with a conrasting color. Loved adding some black splatters :)

Hi Sue, those were made with the Liquitex Splatter Tool – totally forgot to list it. I usually use black Acrylic ink to make them.
