Als Simea mich letztes Jahr fragte, ob ich in der Zukunft mal ihr Scrapbooker des Monats sein wollte, habe ich ohne Zögern und voller Freude ja gesagt. Mir gefallen nämlich zum einen ihre Kits sehr gut und zum anderen finde ich ihre Idee immer unterschiedliche Scrapper das Kit verarbeiten zu lassen, grandios. When Simea asked last year if I would like to be her Scrapbooker of the month in the future I accepted without hesitation and I was really thrilled. I like her kits a lot and I love her idea to feature different scrappers with her monthly kits. Die Taube habe ich aus von einem Chipboard auf Papier abgezeichnet. Die Sterne ebenfalls. Der Journaling Stempel ist von 7Gypsies. Die Taube und die Sterne sind auf Foam Tape aufgeklebt, um wiederum mehr Dimension zu erzeugen.
I traced a chipboard bird (thanks Vicki!) on paper. Did the same with the stars. The Journaling stamp is from 7Gypsies.

Dieses Foto mit meinem Neffen im Vordergrund ware eigentlich kein gutes Foto zum Scrappen, aber irgendwie gefiel es mir und, dass ich vielleicht beim Fotografieren ein besseres Timing brauche, ist ja auch wiederum verscrappenswert :-)

Bei diesem Layout, habe ich die Monogramme mit einem ZIG-Stift in braun und orange bemalt und sodann mit Orange-Stickles ausgefüllt.

Hier habe ich die Maske auf pinkes Cardstock geklebt und mit grüner Acrylfarbe darübergemalt. Die Umrandungen in weiß sind mit einem Signo Ball Stift gezeichnet. Der Titel wurde mit Making Memories Foam Stamps gestempelt.
I applied the Heidi Swapp mask in the kit to pink cardstock and painted green acrylic paint over it. I traced the outlines of the butterflies with a white Signo Ball.

Das Journaling: …sorgst immer noch für Schmetterlinge in meinem Bauch

You still give me butterflies in my stomach
Den Cardstock habe ich mit dünn mit Gesso bemalt. Für die Schmettlinge habe ich, um die Innsenseite in der passenden Farbe zu erhalten – die Heidi Swapp Maske auf Cardstock aufgelegt, mit ModPodge (einem Serviettenkleber) die Umrandungen versiegelt. Die Maske sodann schnell unter fließendem Wasser abgewaschen und den Kleber trocknen lassen. Sodann mit Acrylfarbe drüber gemalt. Auf den mit dem Serviettenkleber versiegelten Flächen ließ sich die Acrylfarbe mit einem Küchentuch schnell und einfach abwischen. Nachdem dies wiederum getrocknet war, habe ich die Schmetterlinge ausgeschnitten und mit der Nähmaschine und verschiedenen Fadenfarben benäht.
I painted a thin layer of gesso onto the cardstock. For the butterflies – I applied the mask on cardstock, applied ModPodge over it – removed the mask quickly and washed it! – and let it dry. Afterwards I painted with red acrylic paint above and I was able to remove the paint at the places where the sealer had been applied before. (you can just smear it off with a paper towel). After this was dry, I cut those butterflies out and sewed with different colored threads onto them.

Journaling: Such a rare moment – all three in a picture- looking good – yet so sad about Ariane leaving.
Das Foto zeigt zwei meiner Freundinnen und mich. Meine Freundin Ariane hat an diesem Abend Abschied gefeiert, bevor sie am nächsten Tag in die USA auswanderte. Es war eine tolle Party und doch so unglaublich traurig.
This photo shows two of my friends and me. My friend Ariane had a good bye party this evening before she moved to the States. It was an awesome party but yet so sad.
Hier habe ich die Monogramms mit Stickles bemalt. Die Knöpfe sind aufgenäht auf das wunderschöne Rhonna Farrer Papier, welches ich auf Foam Tape geklebt habe, damit das ganze mehr Dimension erhält. Die Blumen sind auf pinkes Draht aufgefädelt. Das gepunktete Scenic Route Papier habe ich mit einem PizzaRoller bearbeitet und die Ränder mit einer Rasierklinge aufgerubbelt. Von einem der Clear Frames habe ich den Barcode verwendet.
I painted the monograms with Stickles. The buttons are sewed onto the Rhonna Farrer paper, which I applied again to foam tape to get more Dimension. The flowers are threaded on pink wire. I rolled a little pizza cutter over the Scenic Route paper and also used a razor for the edges – to give the paper a distressed look. I used also one of the bar codes of those clear frames. Material:
