DT Work: Tattered Angels and Fancy Pants

After my fancy
was to work with Fancy Pants this month – what a fun blog relay.

*Go Girl*

GoGirlTAFP

For this layout I layered a Fancy Pants transparency on top of the Fancy Pants Paper. I stamped the beautiful town stamp and the date stamp from the new Time Traveler Stamp Set into the circles. The suitcase is from the new Tattered Traveler Glimmer Glass Collection.  I also used the yummie Car from the Tattered Traveler Glimmer Chip Collection and the cool clock frame is from the Traveler Framed Font Set. Oh, and do you see the journaling stamp – that is one of my favorites – it is from the Notes from the Garden Stamp Set.

*Picnic*

PicnicTAFP

This was so much fun to create. The Clear Fancy Pants is painted with Glimmer Glam and there are also some drops of Glimmer Glam on the background as a fun accent. I cute out the clouds and rainbow from the wonderful Fancy Pants Kraft Paper and used the rest of the paper as a stencil for my paper.

*Be Mine*

BeMineTAFP

For this layout I stamped with the Timeless Romance Heart Stamp onto the Clear Fancy Pants Heart. The crown is from the Rockin’ Royalty Foil Chips Collection by Heidi Swapp.

I’m wishing you a gorgeous day full of sunshine :)

LO: Beach Day

And more sun :)

Und mehr Sonne :)

Journaling: It was a wonderful ending of our amazing and adventurous vacation – a day at the beaches n the West Coast. We had such a good time, talking, walking, relaxing and enjoying – the sun, sand and scenery.  Summer 2009

Supplies: Prism Cardstock, Tattered Angels: Glimmer Mists, Glimmer Glam, Stamp, Stencil, Glass and Bingo Card; Sultane Paper; Script Stamp; Scrapbook Adhesives by 3; Ranger’s Distress Ink

Techniques: I sprayed with yellow Glimmer Mist on top of the white Cardstock.  I used a Reed Stencil which I sprayed with three different Glimmer MIst colors and then used as a “stamp”. Over this I stamped with a Reed Stamp with Archival Ink. I stamped with a Script Stamp to create a background and painted some parts with Glimmer Glam. I cut out a frame from the Sultane Papers and attached it to the Cardstock with 3D Foam Pads. I printed out the journaling and used distress ink before cutting the words out.

Wear your Adhesives on the Outside

There are so many fun things that you can do with products by SCRAPBOOK ADHESIVES BY 3L . So this month I am teaming up with my wonderful friend Liz Hicks on a month long quest to share with you just how much fun you can have “Wearing your adhesive on the Outside”. I’m really fortunate to work with Liz on several different teams and I love her gorgeous work and amazing ideas and skills! Check out her blog If you don’t know Liz, YOU NEED TO! She is awesome and totally talented, I absolutely adore her.. Check out her blog here. When Liz found out that I joined the  SCRAPBOOK ADHESIVES BY 3L design team she told me about her cool idea of doing a blog hop, asked me if I would join and we decided to make March our month to share some of our favorite techniques using this fabulous adhesive.

Here is my video for this week

Here is my layout *Spring has sprung* using some of the techniques in the video:

Supplies: Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L products: E-Z Dots, Adhesive Sheets, E-Z Runner.

Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist and Glimmer Screen, Webster’s Pages Paper, Rose Moka Stickers

*Details*

Some texture on the background with the E-Z Dots embossed with Glitter Embossing Powder

Butterflies punched through the Adhesives Sheets.

So be sure to check us out each Monday as we share our favorite techniques with SCRAPBOOK ADHESIVES BY 3L products. Next week we will be using the craft and photo tape!

Liz and I will both be doing a giveaway on our blogs for all of you who join in through out the month on our little blog hop. Just take the techniques that we are sharing with you and apply them to on of your projects. The more times you try the more chances you have to win! Link back to your project on a comment here through out the month or you can tag us to your pic on Facebook, both will count. All entries will need to be dated March 1st 2010 or after and we will be picking our winners Monday, April 5th. The winners will be given an assortment of goodies from our stash (and are sure to include some of the wonderful products that we are demonstrating).

I hope you have fun and wish you a gorgeous week!

Nat

Is it summer yet???? I guess it is a good time to remember  vacations at summer time :)

Ist der Sommer endlich da??? Wohl eine gute Zeit an Sommerurlaube zu denken :)

DT Work: Tattered Angels Chip Tile Cards

I love the Tattered Angels Chip Tiles – they are embossed and white and you can really oomph them up with some fun Glimmer Mists and Glimmer Glaze and Glam. I love to use them to make cards- so here are some I just did a couple days ago.

*Time For Love* Wedding Card

Supplies: Tattered Angels Chipboard Tile Nature, Tattered Angels Glimmer Mists, Tattered Angels Time for Romance Calling Card and Stamp, Prima Paper, German Golden Border, Prima Flower, Rangers Archival Inks, 3L Scrapbook Adhesives Phototape and Foam Pads

I used two different colors of Glimmer Mist on top of the Chipboard Tile and then stamped half of the heart from the Romance Stamp Collection onto it. I then used a sepia Archival Ink Pad to release the embossed areas of the Chipboard. I used also Glimmer mist on the previously cut out heart of the Romance Calling Card and cut out the Writing for the Banner on top. I mounted the Banner on top of 3D Foam Pads to add some dimension.

*Carpe Diem*Birthday Card

Supplies:  Tattered Angels Chipboard Tile Nature, Tattered Angels Glimmer Mists, Tattered Angels Glimmer Glass Nature, TA Heidi Swap chipboard Banner, Prima Trellis Rose, Glimmer Glam, Glimmer Glaze, Scrapbook Adhesive by 3L.

*From the Heart*Wedding Card

Supplies: Tattered Angels Chipboard Tile Nature, Tattered Angels Glimmer Mists and Glaze, Tattered Angels Time for Romance Calling Card, Prima pebble, Tattered Angels Heidi Swapp Tag, Tattered Angels Glimmer Glass Regal, Tattered Angels Rose, Rangers Archival Inks, 3L Scrapbook Adhesives Phototape and Foam Pads, K&Company Brad and Lace by Webster’s Pages

I used two different colors of Glimmer Mist on top of the Chipboard Tile. I then used a sepia Archival Ink Pad to release the embossed areas of the Chipboard. I sprayed glimmer mist on a mat and then used a brush and painted the rose.I also used some Glimmer Glaze on top of the rose.  I mounted the Banner on top of 3D Foam Pads to add some dimension.
Have a gorgeous day!
