I’m Teaching in Wanderlust 2020!

I’m super excited to tell you that I am one of the Wanderlust 2020 teachers!!! Wanderlust 2020 is 61 mixed-media lessons, all downloadable and yours to keep forever. What exactly does a Creative Squad member do?

As a Creative Squad member for Nathalie’s Studio you will serve a 6-month term beginning 10/1/2019. As part of the Creative Squad, you will receive a variety of Nathalie’s Studio products. You will create one project per month, using specified products or groups of products and inspired by a monthly theme. You will be featured once a month on the nStudio blog, Facebook page, and Nat’s Creative Squad Instagram page, and you will be part of an amazing team of artists with a legacy of awesomeness!

New Fan ArtFoamies Stamps: Summer 2019

My latest ArtFoamies foam stamp designs are here and they are FANtastic :)

These are my new favorites for making patterns as they can all fit together in a number of ways and you can use the back side of the stamp for a solid fan shape too. For this release I have 4 fan pairs that have the positive negative versions of the designs, and then a little 4 piece set of Mini Fans.

Here is the Broadway Fan Positive Negative pair – love this bold design.

And then Fairview Fan Positive Negative pair – an Art Nouveau inspired design.

Here is the Jewett Fan Positive Negative pair that features a lovely botanical element to the design.

And the Van Vorst Fan Positive Negative pair – a perfect one to show how the back of the stamp makes a fine solid fan shaped stamp too.

Finally the charming Mini Fan Set that gives you 4 designs to play with.

Loved stamping all these out for my art journal page here – the different patterns just work so nicely together!

New Product Announcement: Solid Shape Rubber Stamps

I am happy to announce that the 4 new rubber stamps in the collection are here! This makes the “family complete” as these new Solid stamps are a great addition to the Hex and Floral Tile sets.

The Solid Hex Large is fun to use on its own with different color inks or even black and white. But as with all these new stamps, it is an amazing partner with its patterned counterpoint… the Hex Set Large stamps and as seen below the Hex Set Small stamps.

You can stamp a field of them and then add the patterned stamps overtop:

The pattern above also includes the cute little Solid Hex Small stamp:

This is again, great on its own…

… but WOW is it fun to pair up with the Hex Set Small stamps:

Next up is the Solid Square Large:

Simple and bold on its own…

… but oh so nice to stamp with under the Floral Tile Large set!

And finally the Solid Square Small stamp:

This one is amazing for checkerboard backgrounds:

And then you add some stamps on top like my Love Tag or Hope Tag or Star Tag ;)

And here is a sample mixing up the Large and Small Solid Squares with my Floral Tile Large and Fanfare sets for some yummy pattern:

And another pattern getting the Solid Fan Large and Small and Fantastic Large and Small in the mix :)

    Hi Nathalie,
    I have an idea can you make a creative jumpstart session that special for us to make decoration for our art studio (maybe something that pure for decoration en maybe also something that for storage ?) en also how to make our mixed media art that we usually do in our journal can be posted somehow on the wall maybe even at our living room / dining room or bedroom??

      Hi Au Mo – so glad Creative JumpStart has you thinking of all the ways that you can be creative, in your art journal, in your studio, home and beyond. We hope you do flex your artistic muscles and try some of the projects from 2019 that happen in your art journal, encourage you to embellish elements of your home with your own style, and play with pieces that can hang on the wall of any space in your home. The CJS19 My Home is My Castle theme is all about exploring those super fun and yummy mixed media activities. We also hope to see you next year when CJS takes us somewhere completely different, and challenges us once again with a new theme. I know our artist teachers will again JumpStart our creativity :)
